I have one and I drove more than 100k kms with it. I measured the real speeds with GPS. The actual speed in 6th gear at 3000 revs is exactly 150 km/h (factory tire size, good condition). The measured top speed for me was 205 km/h with GPS. Without any chip-tuning or modification.
Same 205kmh but it can go to 220 on a little downhill

i can do a consistent 0-100 in 8.60 in my mk5 ( stock ) , my top speed which i never tested fully since i don t live in germany and i can t just keep my foot down for that long .... is 210 while filming .
oh yeah and i have the 17 rims and 225 s all around ( dsg also )
Is engine noisy while driving?
yes, it's quite noisy compared to golf VII (I own Golf V 2.0 tdi and tried Golf VII)
Ich fahre ihn mit 170 PS, Schalter und 2,0l TDI.... Wenn ich könnte würde ich mir nie wieder ein anderes Auto holen. Der Wagen ist einfach sau geil.

@@azizouerdani4386 the 2.0 tdi 170 can ritch 240 250 km/h and with the stage 1 tunned you can ritch 260 265
The 1.9 tdi 105 ritch 200 km/h .the 2.0 tdi 140 can ritch 220 easy

Way better Engine than the 2.0L

@@janrasing9335 kann seine Antwort bestätigen habe auch schon strecken geschafft von Wuppertal nach Oberhausen (60km) wo er mir den Durchschnitt von 4,6 angezeigt hat aber das war eine Challenge für mich so 6 ist guter Durchschnitt aber mit dem Auto ballert man auch mal sehr gerne da liegt der zurzeit verbrauch bei so 180 bis 200kmh im 6. Gang bei so ca 15-23Liter und der durchschnitt schießt dementsprechend hoch!

I have it in 1.9tdi , the gearbox don't work very nice , inside have weird noise , I am disapointed by this car
I had a 2.0 TDI: noisy engine, lots of wind noise at The Doors, powerfull engine at 1500-2000rpm but no more power above, lots of wheelspin when acceleration on wet roads, very hard and uncomfortable suspension for a family car , powerfull airco. Sold The car after 1 year😫

Why 203 topspeed, vw passat b6 same engine and manual is claimed with 206 altough its bigger and havier
Passat is more aerodynamic. It plays a huge role in top speed.
