Thanks so much for posting...The big yellow "Six Pack" I grew up with that truck. My Mom placed 1st in the unlimited class mud bog, beating my Dad. We built that truck from scratch from an old FWD cement truck. Lost my dad in 2012. So awesome to see this video with he and my mom and that cool truck! Thanks again for posting!!

That's crazy, I remember watching CRUSH THIS! when I was a kid and seeing SIX PACK for the first time I was amazed at it. It had such craftsmanship and quality built into it. It really was a beautiful truck. Sorry about you're Father.

I'm nothing but a 40 year old kid and took my boy to his first Monster Jam yesterday. What a difference from then until now! Memories for both of us!

I wish Monster Jam would start having shows like the old days. Monster trucks, mud drags and truck pulls.

That would be great. I remember going to the USHRA shows and you would get a full show with a lot of variety. The shows aren't what they used to be.

Imagine being involved back then in like '83-''85, on the road with the USHRA, or whatever they called it prior to that..
Back then Im sure most of those competitive guys had to of been individual engineers and they didnt have online and brand shops like today.
Like today we have online shopping, magazines, and custom auto shops just minutes away from where you live. It wasnt like that back then. There were a few shops, I remember back in like 1990 my friends and I would go into this place called "Popoli" and they had some huge 44 inch tires we would trip out on.

Showing up to shows seeing whatever people had come up with in their backyard with their imagination, not just different versions of the same thing everyone copies off each other from the internet. These days were and always will be the golden age.

It looks like they had much more fun back then especially compared to todays boring monster truck shows. :-D

As a kid, I used to watch monster trucks and mud bogging and tractor pulling and think, I'm country same as these folks, so where the F do they get the money to bolt 6 v-8's or a jet turbine to their tractor and engineer and build the drive trains to stick a $10,000 (in the 80's) set of tires on their trucks and then risk going out and blowing up an engine or popping a tire or tree..and as a guy in my 40's (still country) I am still not sure

The 1980s were better in every way. And I say this as someone who wasn't even born until '84, just to clarify for all the potential trolls that would inevitably insist that I'm just old.

All these dudes saying the 80s was the best, I bet they think Motley Crue is still the best band around. Lol
