    Great video on repairing your garden’s irrigation system. Thank you for the tip on growing basil with tomatoes

      Thanks!! There are so many different varieties of Basil. Grow one that is strong smelling with your Tomatoes. The hornworm can stand the smell of them. Thank you so much for watching!!

    I gave up on drip emitters and went with soaker hoses. Been gardening for 30 years, and those soaker hoses have rocked my world.

      My water pressure probably wouldn't even work with those as far out as my garden is from the faucet. That's the problem my neighbor had with soaker hoses. Thanks for watching!

    Hey Lisa. I have noticed the same with my emitters but they are still getting watered. Don’t stress over it and yes decrease your watering time. I see you’re a tan. Nice harvest. Have an awesome blessed day. Thanks for sharing ❤😊

    I had to decrease the amount of emitters per line and then the flow improved. I cut it back to 4 emitters per line 😊

    When the 360’s don’t spray. You don’t have enough water pressure. You’ll need to add another zone. What that means is a timer with 3 watering zones. Take the watermelon garden make that one zone. The middle garden outside of the fenced in garden. Make that its own zone. The porch garden will be its own zone. Move the two zone times to the front of the house. Let that water the front/side flowerbed.
    Also do you know how many gallons are being pushed out? Different colors on the emitters mean different amounts of water being pushed out. I have my red ones on my trees. I want to say if memory serves me correctly the red is 1/2 gph. You also have to watch how long you’re running the water. You can flood a container. Ask me how I know.🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

      Hey Brutha Moses! I thought at first I would let the patio out to the shed be zone 1 and the big garden be zone 2, but I thought we should put drip our front as well! I think I need to separate and get a new timer and put our 4 way splitter at the faucet. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

    I'm having the same issue. Further down the line they are not spraying, just dripping. It goes straight through the bed and only waters that one area for about 4 square inches. My bed is so dry. I want to try and find some pressure compensating drippers.

    • @gardeningwithlisa
      @gardeningwithlisa  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That’s an idea! I feel like I have too much in 1 zone. I need to separate the back yard and I might not need a pressure regulator because I don’t have much pressure out in the garden. 🤷🏽‍♀️

    Hi Ms. Lisa, you work hard in your garden and it shows. Your garden is very lush and green. Do you plant different types of tomatoes next to each other if so do they cross pollinate. I ask because gardening is new for me and I see a lot of TH-camrs planting lots of tomatoes that are different types and I was told not to plant different types together, but too too late I have already ready done it LOL😂. If they cross pollinate will the seeds grow the same or different tomatoes? Thanks for sharing your information is helpful.

    • @gardeningwithlisa
      @gardeningwithlisa  10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hello there!! Yes ma'am, I grow them ALL together😂😂 I planted 16 different varieties this year. I don't have the space to grow them separate. I grew 4 different ones together last year and I saved the Paul Roberson seeds. I planted some of those Paul Roberson seeds and those plants are growing beautifully in the garden right now! The plant I was working on at the end of this video is one of them. It's huge!! If you save seeds from plants you grow in your garden, and sow those seeds the next year, that plant will grow well for you! It started in your soil, it grew in your soil, and it's used to your soil and it will always grow well for you in your soil! Now, yes they can cross pollenate and turn out to be something very different than what you expected! That's just a chance we take when we grow everything together like that! I will not every grow this many tomatoes again. I am on the hunt for finding my favorite tomato! 😂😂 I appreciate you watching!! Come back anytime!! 😊😊💕💕

    • @gardeningwithlisa
      @gardeningwithlisa  11 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I think so too. I have it on a 25psi. The front yard is on a 15psi but it’s not running yet. I might switch those over. I will not be using as many emitters in the front. I think it’s a number of things wrong with our hookup but I’ll get it fixed! 😊😊

    Water pressure may very well be your problem but it could be the 'Emitters' you've chosen. Here is one Homesteader you may want to listen to but I'd say look into what other Homesteaders/Gardeners are using. th-cam.com/video/xT1OEQ6JJwo/w-d-xo.html
