a thing that badger didn't show was the other dlc content in the game that is even more crazy than the one in the divide. the one called dead money is really scary and interesting while the old world blues dlc is also amazing with its high tech area and the funny dialog. definitely worth playing and is one of my favourite games.
Divide is an appropriate challenge for high level players. Remember the camper trailer on the highway with the irradiated deathclaws? I think we all remember the irradiated deathclaws.
Yeah letting the enemies use stealth in Dead Money made it terrifying. My only complaint was the good ending was impossible to get without a guide because you have to do everything perfectly every single time you make a choice in the whole DLC. And get lucky a little.
@@acrab6527 What disappointed me was that you couldn't bring DLC companions to the wasteland with you. Shame, when it could have been so incredible to reintroduce Veronica to Christine, or bring Dean Domino to the tops, or go wasteland prowling with Ulysses and Joshua Graham.
@@aregulargamer1 Well since everyone you just mentioned is the bad guy, who are meant to either die, be trapped forever, or go insane, I don't think you should have been able to do that. Elijah and Christine had 2 whole DLC explaining why they had to never leave the Sierra Madre, one way or another. The entire Dead Money DLC is about why Dean is a villain meant to suffer for what he did 300 years ago, and is still doing now. Dog and Ulysses are suicidal after losing everything. And Joshua Graham was even the bad guy in the main game, from every faction's perspective, and even his own. And that's before he used innocent school children to commit genocide, also for petty revenge. And you do get to take ED-E 2.0 back with you. I have a ton of memories playing New Vegas; my first 'Oh Shit' moment when I chose to ignore the Goodsprings citizenry's advice on avoiding the path past Quarry Junction, thus running into my first Deathclaw of the game; the much longer but arguably safer journey through Nipton to Novac; meeting Mr. House for the first time; the palpable dread of finding myself in the Sierra Madre and solving the mystery of how it all came to be; the run-in with the legendary "Burned Man" Joshua Graham in Zion Valley; the quirky humor (later horror) at the bizarre creations of and unstable personalities of the Think Tank (God bless James Urbaniak and Cam Clarke); and the sense of finality and sadness when I had to make my final delivery in the Divide, a soul-crushing descent into the heart of a living hell on earth that my character had (Unknowingly) made, Ulysses pointing out how my existence damned everybody who lived here, when I delivered a certain package containing launch codes, which automatically started up the warheads under the Divide, blowing what could've been a brave new world, bridging East and West, to smithereens. If it seems like I'm gushing more about Lonesome Road, it's because it left a definite impression on me. It comes across like an especially horrific version of Francis Ford Coppola's 'Apocalypse Now,' where my character is trying to stop Ulysses, a man driven insane by the loss of his 'home,' and along the way, we experience many of the things he did and nearly come over to his line of thinking, before our final battle together in his 'Temple,' the former missile silo base all the way at the bottom of the Divide, where he could destroy the rest of the Wasteland with a push of the button.
I still say to this day that New Vegas has the best DLC pound for pound. Maybe some DLC will give you more overall stuff or be longer but Obsidian knew what they were doing. Considering they had 18 months to make the game it's a miracle it even runs at all let alone is still considered better than 4 or 76. It currently has a 4.9 star rating from audience with its lowest overall score being from metacritic at 84%. Fallout 4 has a 4.5 from audience and 84% from metacritic while 76 has a 3.0 audience score and it's hugest rating is 6/10 from IGN. Yea that should tell you something. I listen to audience score a lot more than a company since the audience bought and played the game in most instances. For more reference fallout 1 & 2 both have 4.7 audience score while fallout 3 has a 4.6 audience score. Why is the only fallout game made by a different company that made literally all the others considered the best via audience, metacritic and IGN overall?

I play A New Vegas Run at least twice per year. The DLCs are great, especially Old World Blues because it's hilarious. Totally recommend a (shorter) video of someone talking about the DLCs.
I truly can’t imagine wanting to side with the Legion except curiosity. Basically had the opposite experience of this guy. Couldn’t stand the Legion. Enjoyed murdering Caesar a great deal.
They're a joke. They're suppose to be the biggest challenge to the NCR now that the BoS is "gone" but I've seen 8 on 5 fights where the Legion still lost even with extra people. Unless you put centurians against regular troopers they're likely not gonna win.
@@Aaroncarter95 Who would win, people with sharp sticks or people with guns? Really, they are heavily carried by their generals and amount of people in them, from them taking over so many people before getting to Vegas. It also says a lot where the other 3 paths, while heavily not perfect, can bring good/help people. You because you believe you help everyone, House wants to push advancements and does want to make Vegas amazing, and NCR while corrupt and many issues, needs changes to the top and peace of mind. Legion...is always doomed. If Ceasar dies, legit 0 good comes from it since way too big to be defended, and just are mindless without their brain. With Ceasar, it's better but still will lead to an overall worst situation for everyone.
@@jjmara01 the Legion sucks. Me and my brother used to farm their hit squads for gear and healing. Even got to the point my brother remembered literally ever possible spot you could get attacked by the hit squads. After he got so much stuff like armor and weapons for repairs or selling, since he either didn't need the caps or just got tired of them jumping him, he started avoiding certain areas of the map unless they required passing through or near for quests, and went 2 full weeks playing every day for a few hours each day and didn't get jumped once. Seriously the Legion is horrible. Armor is worse than NCR, weapons are weaker than NCR, having practically no long range weapons in combat and healing items held by the hit squad all sucking doesn't make them a threat to anything.
I mean like: *NCR:* Bitchy but _sane_ soldiers. *Caesar:* "Blood murder crucify pillage! Cut proclaim kill revel!" *Mr House:* 40K God-Emperor of Vegas. *Yes-Man:* Do you like p o l i t i c s and d i p l o m a c y? Out of all the options, Caesar is just the _worst._

Keith Szarabajka did an amazing job on Joshua Graham I bought Fallout: NV and Honest Hearts just so I could hear all of Joshua's stories and voice lines
New Vegas I think was a very formative game in my life. More specifically, the Honest Hearts DLC. Joshua Graham is just such a person that I can't really put into words how much I admire him, and how much his lessons have helped me through my dark hours. Yes, a fictional video game character helped me deal with passing of family members and my depression years. That immensely powerful man who can act on his words, while never being boastful and is always calm and mature and understanding is the kind of person I want to become. You make fun of him believing in his religion, but instead of getting angry and starts shooting at you, he explains further about his beliefs while understanding that we may have different views. When we threatened to harm his friend, instead of threatening us back, he gives us advice that fighting good people is bad for the soul, which is a lesson I still hold dear to my heart. It's fascinating to me. For people curious, I highly recommend watching some videos looking at his story, or his psychology and stuff because it can get very interesting. Even though I'm not religious, Lord bless that fictional man, and I hope his tribe is doing fine
Fallout New Vegas is my absolute fav Fallout, between you can do whatever you want and your choices matter to the story, a lot of exploration, side quests, weapons and armour to find, and theirs so many different ways to play the game with different builds, karma, reputation is amazing.
Yes Man ending with a liking for the NCR is the way I usually play like I hate most of the NCR leaders but I have no issue with most of the soldiers. It's a good way to show corruption and stupidity
My favorite memory of fallout new vegas has to be maxing out unarmed and just going ham with *greased lightning* and causing people to be sent into the stratosphere
One funny thing when Joshua Graham is following you, unlike all other followers, he refuses any of the commands you give him. He won't wait or Engage in conversations or let you alter his inventory. That's cause in the missions where the two of you are together, he isn't the companion, you are. He's the main character and youre the sidekick.
Very entertaining? Very entertaining? Dude, I had to pause the video at "Takes a sip from your trusty Vault 13 canteen" bit because I was going to have a murder rage aneurysm from laughing so hard. Almost busted a gut. No, literally, I felt my stomach nearly split.
ah bloody mess, the perk that gives a 5% damage buff and the chance to turn any kill into comedy gold 10/10 would find bits of that random powder ganger from goodsprings in a tree on the lonesome road again.
That gun that plays the music is from the mysterious stranger perk. if you do the quest for that guy you find out he's the son of the mysterious stranger. you can always just kill him and take the gun but thought you should know about it.
Every save that didn't crash due to my absolute hoarding, died to an autosave loop. Leaving a building as a pack of Deathclaws are ripping up the town or flying Brahmin, glowing ghouls.. Think another Legion run is on the cards.
Badger doesn't go over it here, but New Vegas has the best gun in all video games. The Grenade Machine Gun, which is exactly what it sounds like; a heavy machine gun that rapidly fires 25mm grenades. And the unique variant called Mercy, that fires 40mm grenades. When you combine that with the fact that there are several grenade types, like incendiary, EM pulse, and plasma grenades. The fun is endless, and it can be used in just about any situation.

I forget that its worth replaying vegas many times. There is A LOT I didn't experience because of my playstyle, and i tried to explore as much as possible, spending an unnecesary 40 hours in a 10 hr game. But im pretty sure i only experienced 50 percent or less of the game because this might be the truest fps fallout has been to roleplaying. Ive watched countless videos of outcomes i never knew with almost every mission, and many having an impact on later ones. What a friggin achievement by the people who wrote and coded this game. I know it was glitchy af at first release, and a bit still, but this game is a masterpiece!
My favorite memory in fallout 4, (i did not play new vegas) I had the bright idea to make a ton of Gunner trap cages, and farm them for gear and exp. I went overboard and forgot about them for multiple sessions...... till a bandit damaged something critical on my powergrid..... It opened like 20 cages of gunners, some of them throwing gernades. I have a vats build, the works.... I used vats and my Western revolver to shoot the gernades close to the gunners before they were close to me and killed alot of gunners with their own weapons..... Just, bang bang bang bang bang bang.... 6 gernades going off near the gunners who threw them awesome..... My next favorite was setting up an easy to reset minefield using baseball pitchers, timing devices and switches all set to both a manual lever and a master switch.. with a support plant for sorting junk, building the mines and stockpiling them..... It was neat...
New Vegas is one of the VERY BEST games I have EVER played! It was my digitcal-crack for the longest time... By the time my PC blew up I had over 130 hours sunk into it... And I have just recently re-installed it so I can mod the living HELL out of it and start all over again... Even with 130 hours I hadn't played all the DLC etc. I plan to fix that this time. And I expect I'm going to clock-up them hours AGAIN. EASILY sits in my top-5 games of all time. Worth. Every. Second.
On my third playthrough and there is no good or bad. Just consequences for the billions of choices you make. And every skill is used for skill checks and not speech. You can beat the game without killing anything too. And unarmed is a weapon choice too.
I’m not saying you should actually watch all of it, because it’s a 3 and a half hour long experience, but uberdanger has an incredible video on new Vegas as well
The one thing that I hate about New Vegas, well one of if not the biggest things, is the Legion is suppose to be an equal challenge than the NCR and greater in certain areas. However in no instance have i ever seen the Legion win in a fair fight between them. 5 Legion vs 5 NCR troopers is not a challenge. NCR wins every time because their armor protect more and weapons deal more damage. I've even seen scenarios where the Legion lost a 8 on 5 advantage and it wasn't until you gave the Legion 10+ to damage resistance did they win a 5v5 even match and even then they were still down to 2 people with around half health. Legion is a joke in these games unless you run pure melee/unarmed. If you do then you'll have a challenge but you're more than likely gonna have a companion with you to help deal damage at range or at the very least be a distraction.
If you guys need a good something something to watch, the overwatch cinematics are amazing, especialy as they fall more into the "movie" genre, you lot might be able to give us more insight into that kinda stuff. as they are less so of these "funny video game things" and more so back to yall watching filmography. But beware as it is multiple episodes, or just one 3,5 hour long video.
This
i watcghed it at like 1 to 3 am and my experience was enchanced becasue i was doing it will high on caffeine and doing like 5 homeworks so yeah, itsa baller
Mikeburnfire though they do use mods in their games. Less of a play through and more of a tv series honestly.
favorite memory of new vegas: getting banned from literally every casino
I see the sound is back
I play A New Vegas Run at least twice per year.
I mean like:
*NCR:* Bitchy but _sane_ soldiers.
*Caesar:* "Blood murder crucify pillage! Cut proclaim kill revel!"
*Mr House:* 40K God-Emperor of Vegas.
*Yes-Man:* Do you like p o l i t i c s and d i p l o m a c y?
Out of all the options, Caesar is just the _worst._
Screw 'em all I say, and hand Vegas to the Kings!
I love how badger says fuck the NCR when he is in a NCR trooper uniform
My favorite memory from fallout new Vegas is nuking the legion
Zack and Michael playin Fallout :New Vegas...... I have seen this before.

.
Ah yes Mikeburnfire chanel
The stories and gun rants are the best
I’m surprised that Badger never mentioned that you can deadass just toss General Oliver off the Dam, and listen to him Wilhelm scream on the way down.
15:38 I luv how y'all are the only people who realized how deadly the upgrade is to them!!
Most people didn't even know or even see them. 😂😂 Especially how FAST they reload l!!
Joshua Graham's VA actually voices a bunch of Skyrim's Dark Elves, such as Brand-Shei in Riften
I am pretty sure a colab between TheRussianBadger, LetsGameItOut, and TheSpifingBrit Would just be them taking over the world
Keith Szarabajka did an amazing job on Joshua Graham I bought Fallout: NV and Honest Hearts just so I could hear all of Joshua's stories and voice lines
"that's Matthew Perry" LMAO
Back in my day I thought New Vegas was an expanison pack at first given how fast it came out :)
@Brian Szymczak
The game engine is The only thing similar with those games. Other than that, they are quite different, story and faction wise.
My favourite NV memory was killing raiders with golf clubs
Kit had his spirit shattered by this video since he sided with the NCR
Well kit sided with the wrong people.
Yes Man all the way
The moment where Kit heard the first "FUCK the NCR" was legit, especially the fact that before that, he was praising the NCR.
@@atomic747 Nah people who unironically side with the cringy roman cosplayers are the only people who made the wrong decision
20:05 best part of badger's video LMAO
Vegas is wild once when I was playing it I threw a grenade at a powder gangers head then his head blew up on impact with the nade
Was playing this last night, it's addicting.
idk how it hasn't been recommended yet.
You guys should react to "Mickey Never Came Back" and "Mickey's Descent Into Madness" by Ethereal Snake
OHHHH that's a good one.
But pretty dark and weird
was that the Goofy war one?
@@walkingglasses6264 sorta, I guess, the one about Vietnam
@@graturgud208 ye that one, Goofy was killed right?
@@walkingglasses6264 yup
Fallout New Vegas is my absolute fav Fallout, between you can do whatever you want and your choices matter to the story, a lot of exploration, side quests, weapons and armour to find, and theirs so many different ways to play the game with different builds, karma, reputation is amazing.
I had NO IDEA that Matthew Perry voiced Benny holy shit.
My favorite moment is when you first meet the brains” ArE ThOsE HaNd Pe*iSes” from old world blues
i lost it when he said house was a vegetable he was just making mashed potatoes LMFAO
Stephen Paddock sneaking multible heavy firearms into the Mandalay Bay Hotel be like: 12:39
Yes Man ending with a liking for the NCR is the way I usually play like I hate most of the NCR leaders but I have no issue with most of the soldiers. It's a good way to show corruption and stupidity
Funny enough if you have high speech and side with Yes Man you can have the option to throw General Oliver from the Dam 😂
My favorite memory of New Vegas was having the ability to sell Arcade Gannon…
Whenever I scroll through unloading thumbnails and see a title with all caps I just think: “yep, that’s badger”
**Take sip from trusty vault thirteen canteen**
I think the song in the beginning is the best part. Its called Little Bit Of Rock BTW
40:05 man needs a drink after a hard day’s work
ah bloody mess, the perk that gives a 5% damage buff and the chance to turn any kill into comedy gold 10/10 would find bits of that random powder ganger from goodsprings in a tree on the lonesome road again.
3 words: Ammo Swap Glitch.
_Powerwolf intensifies_
I ordered a pepperoni pizza and from just looking at it I am unable to see anything but the pepperoni
talking about saves, I got stuck on aome boxes and couldn’t move so I had to reload a save 16 HOURS back on f:nv
I’m here from the future. That video indeed became age restricted and demonitized.
My favorite thing about Fallout New Vegas is Cesar's Legion, some 40k vibes.
"The legion has slaves, puts landmines under dead bodies, and rapes woman, but at least they don't have taxes so they are better than the NCR"
-TheRussianBadger
I would suggest the hbomberguy New Vegas video if it wasn't so long
i see the sounds works again
These to need to see rising storm Vietnam 2 by Sovietwomble
I like how you ran out of space in the title so it just says "Chi"
I very much enjoyed this video....but now i have to go and reinstall FallOut New Vegas again 👍
My favorite memory in fallout 4, (i did not play new vegas)
I had the bright idea to make a ton of Gunner trap cages, and farm them for gear and exp.
What happened to the csgo bullshitttery 6 reaction? I was watching it and it all of a sudden went private.
Sound problems. Mic didn't work for them, the only sound being the video itself they watched.
Would love to see you guys give some of these games a try. A let’s play if you guys giving it a try would be awesome!
7:54 Gents got 404 error, i guess...
Worth. Every. Second.
Straight away, blood Fontaine.
whenever i get this game I'm going with this build and CAUSING MAHYEM NEW VAGES HAS EVER SEEN!!!
Liking video cuz in the thumbnail, the guy on the left looks like Bill murray crossed with Gibby
Facts:the bomber in fallout new vegas is *WW2 B29*
Its like having 2 channels in one.
*takes sip from trusty vault 13 canteen*
War...... war never changes.
The actual thing starts at 3:20
the day I noticed you can target weak points
You two should react to bo time gaming (war thunder the b-29 experiment) its funny and it will show you what bombers suffer in every match
On my third playthrough and there is no good or bad. Just consequences for the billions of choices you make. And every skill is used for skill checks and not speech. You can beat the game without killing anything too. And unarmed is a weapon choice too.
was it just me or did anyone watching this saw everything shaking around 4:50?
You guys should react to: "Fallout New Vegas in a Nutshell" by Nikolai, here on youtube.

How long til you guys react to that one Far Cry 5 video by Badger?
I’m not saying you should actually watch all of it, because it’s a 3 and a half hour long experience, but uberdanger has an incredible video on new Vegas as well
Whelp its confirmed... badger is a social darwinist 11:06
ZA WARUDO (vats activates)
One thing Badger didn't say in the video is the Enclave. Fuck the technology hoarder and god bless the Enclave!
29:10 hell yea
If you guys need a good something something to watch, the overwatch cinematics are amazing, especialy as they fall more into the "movie" genre, you lot might be able to give us more insight into that kinda stuff. as they are less so of these "funny video game things" and more so back to yall watching filmography.
Although i totally understand waiting for awhile while the current blizz stuff goes on.
