    Brother I see you are not breaking those top bolt in the pattern that's supposed to be used, you take a really good chance of warping that head breaking them without using the bolt breaking pattern, you should be breaking those bolts off in a crisscross pattern but then again it's your motor I'm just giving some advice

      You are correct, good practice is to remove them the opposite pattern of how they are installed. On this particular engine I knew the head was going to be scrap so it really did not matter. There were stress cracks in a few places which is not something I would ever try to sell, there are plenty of good heads for these around. I think I have 5 sitting on a shelf right now. But generally inside/out staggering sides for tightening and outside/in for loose is good practice. Thanks for watching!
