So easy. I was a little intimidated by fixing it.... but the video made it super easy. Glad to have my headphones comfy again. My foam was coming out on the old ones because I didn't want to pay the $40 to bose to get replacements. Really good quality.
Wish I'd found this video BEFORE I ordered a replacement set from Bose direct! I really LIKE the stitching around the interior edge, as that is exactly where mine failed!
Thanks, just ordered a pair. Nice to see they are stitched instead of glued like the crap that came with my overpriced QC15's. Should point that out on your Amazon site. I will never buy a Bose product again.
I own a ton of headphones. Get a pair of cheap Denon ah-d1100 because they sound like these when noise cancelling is enabled. Just better. Denon ah-d1100 are very underrated. They sound just as good as my tweaked Sennheiser HD-700.
If old scrims don’t appear to need replacement, is it necessary/advised? I just received new earcup cushion replacement kit from Bose. Thanks for nice lil’ vid. 🙏
The earpads did start to flake on me after a couple of years. They're still a good deal though, I think that's probably quite common. Just mentioning it because it's claimed in the video that they don't.

absolutley not easy to do and i cannot, after asn hour of trying get the earpieces to snap in. one of the most difficult pieces to replace i have ever had to deal with. watched this video and called bose but i still cannot figure out how to get this to fit in.

why is the "R" UPSIDE DOWN? Poor Install!!! and you did not un-tape both sides. why make something so simple... so complicated? And why are you wearing a mask through this Heart Surgery?
I'm so thankful there's a DIY solution. Service center charges $60 to replace these, parts included.

Bought a set from you and fitted them and at the same time I replaced one of the speakers that was failing - headphones are now like new again.
Great Video, I just received my new pads today and installed them in minutes following the video. Good bye flaky old pads! Looks like a great product!

Did you install the scrims upside down?
I was watching this with my bose and took them of to check, cracked me up to see this guy put them on upside down

Are these qc2 earpads that you replaced original from the day you bought headphones, or did you replaced them before?

yep he put them in wrong ear cups hence upside down, not a big issue
For the QC25 in terms of making the cushions click. How much fucking force do you have to use to make this shit stay. I am struggling like hell.
