Yes and I read on Internet she's the youngest daughter so it makes her more easy to manipulate. Plus, in the original tale, one of the stepsisters is describe by be nicer than her mother and sister
They did Prince Charming JUSTICE in this movie! Not only did they give him more agency, but gave him a decent character. He's daring, has his funny moments, and for a prince he's kinda friendly and humble (not sure about the right terms to use but I hope you get what I'm saying). Idc what anyone says, but the romance between Cinderella and Prince Charming is really sweet ❤ Also, Anastasia! I remember as a kid I hated the step family. Never would I have thought one of them would be redeemed! Anastasia is one best developed and redeemed from antagonistic to someone I care about. She and Cinderella truly felt like they were family at the end ❤
In the first film, the stepsisters said "If the prince is in love with that girl, why should we even bother?" This shows how much of their ambitions are fueled by Lady Tremaine, especially in this movie. Best direct to video Disney movie, imo, and the prince also plays Prince Eric from the Little Mermaid, while the actors for Anastasia and Drizella play Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck.
I love Cinderella 2 even more but this one is one of the best Disney sequels. Highlight of this movie for me is when the prince jumps out the window😂but I also loved Anastasia’s character development.
I absolutely love this movie! The prince has personality, they gave the villain a character arc, they kept the antagonist consistent, they made the protagonist even stronger, this is a cinematic masterpiece!
You know, if Cinderella's stepfamily had treated her with respect and kindness from the start, she likely would've had them come to live with her at the palace.
In the original tale when the stepsisters recognize her, they kneeled and ask her to forgive them and Cinderella does it and even find them husbands for each ones
One thing I really loved about the characterization with Cinderella and Anastasia in this is the level of understanding between them in the end. Cause despite how awful Anastasia may have been in the first movie, this movie really proved to both of them that the step mother is just as willing to be cruel to her own daughters as she was towards Cinderella, and at the end of the day they're both victims of her abuse. Anastasia just wanted someone to *love* her, something she doesn't get from her mother, all affection from her mother comes with a price and that's control. and Cinderella understands that. Not to mention, Cinderella is just a fundamentally kindhearted person, she had a good, loving upbringing until the step mother came into the picture, but this is *all* Anastasia's ever had as a mother and as a role model. It takes a lot longer and a lot more effort to undo that conditioning, but she's proven she's willing to work on it and try to be a better person by the end.
My favorites: Cinderella 3 Little Mermaid 2 Lion King 2 Lady and the tramp 2 Aladdin and the king of thieves Bambi 2 Jungle Book 2 Peter Pan 2 Haven't seen all of them yet like 101 Dalmatians 2 Patch's adventure or Pocahontas 2 but these one I have.
One thing that made this film so interesting is the story. I mean yeah the start might sound a bit boring for most people, but the moment Anastacia took the wand and Lady Tremaine turn back in time is where the movie really shines. They really do a great job keeping been the same villain and personality from the original, Anastacia having a big interesting development, the King having a big charming moment to learn a bit more of him and the fact that in the end they never turn back everything what originally was and completly creating a new route to the story. But the most surprising thing in the film... The Prince have more lines XD
Who Anastasia SHOULD have ended up with is in Cinderella 2. The movie was just okay, I liked some of the songs and Anastasias story, that’s about it. They really did the series justice with Cinderella 3.

@@a.g.demada5263 that's very true! I think both the sequels show us two different paths abused children can take in life - they can repeat the cycle of abuse, like drisella, or they can break free and choose to become better people, like Anastasia. I'm actually pretty happy that they allowed one step-sister to redeem herself, it shows that it's never too late to change, even if you've done bad things because of abuse
@@clarasundqvist6013 in one version of the original tale, it says one of the stepsisters is nicer. But for me, in the second sequel, after Anastasie's rebellion, the expression on Javotte's face let me thinking something good for her
@@a.g.demada5263 oh definitely! even in the first film, there's a very telling scene where lady Tremaine tells the step-sisters about the glass slipper and I think it's Anastasia that asks something like "but if he's already in love with her, why should we care?". I think it's pretty obvious that the step-sisters act horribly to cinderella and in general because that is what gives them her approval, which any child wants from their parent, especially if there's a scapegoat child (cinderella) which demonstrates why you don't want to be on the parents' bad side. so I think it's natural for drisella to be a little envious that Anastasia managed to defy their mother and become better, she just isn't quite there yet
@@clarasundqvist6013 yes it was Anastasie who says that. I read on Internet, she's the youngest stepsister so I suppose she was more the one who follow her mother and sister and it makes her more easy to manipulate. About her sister, I think it's a shame that they made her a perfect idiot in the third film after showing her shocked and a little envious at the end of the second. Besides, I still didn't understand what she was doing behind the door when Anastasie throws the bread outside 🤭
Nice timing. Nostalgia Critic reviewed it last week! 😁 Also: "I forbid you to take one more step down these stairs!" ..... "OK." 🤣🤣😂😂😂 Will never not be hilarious!!!
This was a fun reaction to watch! I'm still recommending Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella with Brandy and Whitney Houston! It's the best Cinderella story of them all
As the end of 90's-00's vidquels came near, Disney execs APOLOGIZED, on bended knee, for passing Cinderella II off as a "movie", and confessed it would be the albatross that would forever hang around their necks with the audience. (Although Bambi II got the SNL sketches.) They wanted to go "classy" with the Cinderella III they knew "nobody wanted", and serendipitously adapted one of Disney Cruise Lines' most popular original stage shows, with a little effort put into it.
Well..Even though, I’m very fond of this sequel, I must admit that the only reason why I don’t see it as a classic is because Cinderella never got to wear the slipper in that version. It’s a detail but it’s very significant in terms of honouring the original. It could have been done very easily when the prince went to rescue her on the boat, he could have brought the slipper with him and have her try it just as a nod to the original (instead of the clumsy dialogue about her actual name). Another thing that bothers me is how they make such a big deal about you feel love by touching someone’s hands. I mean in the original, Cinderella was wearing gloves during at the ball. She even kept them on when she touched the water from the fountain during “So This Is Love”. Aside from that, I think this film is very good and I’m more attached to it than many of the recently released Disney or Pixar titles.
I mostly thought it was because in the original timeline is where she doesn't have her gloves to only be separated by the Stepmother. They were shown twice to be separated and they try to hold on into each other's bare hands then separated. But I guess I was wrong sense they were in the past whenever they touch hands is when she had gloves.
I would definitely be so interested in seeing you react to more Disney sequels, because some of them are actually really good! I honestly really love Cinderella III, think they did a really good job with this one! A few examples are The Little Mermaid II, The Hunchback Of Notre Dame 2, The Jungle Book 2, Peter Pan Return To Neverland, Pocahontas II ❤️
I like how this makes itpretty evident that Lady Tremaine was actually abusive also to her own daughters. It was pretty evident that in her home you do what she expects you to or else.
I admittedly have a habit of preferring sequels over the original but I think most people can agree that this movie is the best in the Cinderella trilogy.
I love to see the magic of old Disney movies is able to makes you laugh like that. You're right, Anastasie is under her mother influence. A french youtuber says in a video about the second movie, the sequels show us Cinderella wasn't the only victim of Madame de Tremaine. The fact Anastasie is more nice here, it's because in the original tale, one of the stepsisters is describe by be nicer than her sister and mother. Plus, I read on Internet she's the youngest stepsister so it makes her more easy to manipulate. If you looked the second movie, you know she find her true love and the fairy Godmother live in the palace since Cinderella's wedding
I hate to break it to you, but it’s not the same actors and actresses in these roles since there was about 50 years in between the original Cinderella and this one. They’re just really good sound-alikes :)
The dress in the original was silver. They changed it for marketing reasons because they looked like wedding dresses on little girls. They also changed Auroras to pink so kids wouldn't get her confused with Cinderella.
Yay! Glad you enjoyed this one. If you want to watch another Cinderella adaptation, you should check out Ever After. It's a live-action version that's more of a realistic spin on the fairy tale. It's got Drew Barrymore and it's pretty good!

My favorite sequel ever lol
One of the best sequels
This was a fun reaction to watch! I'm still recommending Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella with Brandy and Whitney Houston! It's the best Cinderella story of them all
As the end of 90's-00's vidquels came near, Disney execs APOLOGIZED, on bended knee, for passing Cinderella II off as a "movie", and confessed it would be the albatross that would forever hang around their necks with the audience. (Although Bambi II got the SNL sketches.)
They wanted to go "classy" with the Cinderella III they knew "nobody wanted", and serendipitously adapted one of Disney Cruise Lines' most popular original stage shows, with a little effort put into it.
the prince sliding down the ship's sail tho 😏
In the sequel she falls in love with a baker
“It’s not over yet!”
How is it not over yet? 😳
“He thinks he can ruin my plans!”
But he can, he already did. 😳
You should see the second movie. That's where Anastasia finds her true love in the original timeline.
I love how much fun you have with the mice, Jaq and Gus are really great and very loyal friends, and they deserve the appreciation.
I am so happy you watched this movie, when I was younger I would watch this on repeat I absolutely adored this movie.
I cannot express how excited I got oml
I would definitely be so interested in seeing you react to more Disney sequels, because some of them are actually really good! I honestly really love Cinderella III, think they did a really good job with this one!
A few examples are The Little Mermaid II, The Hunchback Of Notre Dame 2, The Jungle Book 2, Peter Pan Return To Neverland, Pocahontas II ❤️
This is actually very much NOT the same actors as the first film, seeing as 57 years had passed. In fact, the Prince is Eric from The Little Mermaid.
27:00 this part aways gets me and is hilarious
How are you doing tho Nicky? Not too stressful I hope!
I’m doing good hope you are doing great as well!
@@nickflix8657 yeah I can't complain! Have a lovely day!
"...A stick?"
"Ooh! Let's beat her with it!"
So much of this film is underrated but if there's one part that always makes me laugh..!
I LOVED this movie when it came out! I still do apparently 😁
The prince yeeting himself out a window will always be one of my favourite scenes of all time.
My little sister watched this for the first time ever and said "It was an emotional rollercoaster" lol
I literally screamed when I saw this was uploaded.
I almost died when Anastasia showed her feet. She really dwarfed the slipper 😂😂
This is one of my favorite Disney Princess movies, and by far the best Princess sequel in my opinion! I’m so happy you’re watching it..just subscribed! ☺️❤️❤️❤️
Great video as always!!
2:02 "I love that it's the same actors and actresses too."
Uh should we tell him that like half the cast was dead when this came out?
This is literally one of my favorite Disney movies (right after Tangled and Luca), so I'm so glad you reacted to it!
Honestly didnt think so many people liked this movie because growing up when i would mention this movie everyone looked at me like i was crazy haha . But i love this one because i feel like the story has alot more of a plot than the first one in my opinion. The first one is great but its a pretty simple plot
Alright, it begins now. Commenting until the day Nick reacts to one of the following movies!
Babe (1995)
Ever After (1998)
OMG I AM SO HAPPY THAT YOU WATCHED THIS SO SOON. Also idk if anyone else said it but all these voices are new since the original Cinderella came out in 1950 and this came out in 2007. BUT interestingly enough the voice actor for Prince Charming in this, is the SAME voice actor for Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid!
But ah man this is one of my favorite Disney sequels. I've watched it so many times I can quote so much of it! I of course enjoyed seeing you watch and enjoy this oh so much.
Also x2 There IS actually after credits scene (idk if you did see it or not). But it's a funny little one.
This is one of my favorite disney sequels, glad that I was able to suggest the sequels too and I hope you react to Return of Jafar and Aladdin and the Fourty Thieves.
Bless you so much Nick thank you so much for making my dreams come true
I love you so much man and I always wanted to see you react to this sequel
and I enjoyed every second of seeing you reacting to this fine masterpiece.
Anastasia is just so precious 🥺🥺 I love her so much 🤗🤧🥰
27:03 A CARA DELE KKKKKKKKKKKKKK EU NÃO POSSO COM ISSO!! Mas que príncipe rebelde!! 😅😅
31:43 meme of the Spider Man 😂😂😂 OMG
32:27 ele me lembra aquele homem que andava com o Gaston 🤔 (Beauty and The Beast)
35:32 why metal isn't affected? 🤔🤔 Good point, hum?
I really love this animation 😏👌❤❤❤
YASSSSS! Just as I'm hoping into the shower too! I hope you enjoy it Nicky! Buckle up! Its about to be a bumpy ride!
This was made 57 years after Cinderella, so none of the voices are the same as before.
I wasn't feeling well earlier today and threw this movie on! I can't believe I watched it just a few hours before your react for it came out hahaha! Can't wait to watch this react later, especially since I now have the movie fresh in my mind!
Probably one of the better direct to DVD Disney sequels I've seen in recent years.
Hey Nick, first thank you so much for reacting to this movie I previously recommended! Your reactions were just as I imagined. Second is if you watch through the end credits they show that Priscilla does find her true love, (the royal pastry chef! Her sister and mother remain frogs. Check it out!
One of the best direct to videos movies.
In the credits, Anastasia finds true love. He's a baker.
Yes!!! I love that you reacted to this movie!
May not be a popular opinion, but I love this movie. I though it was a great sequel! ❤️🤙🏼
Anastasia is voiced by Tress Macneille.
I know her best as Dot Warner from Animaniacs.
Rob Paulsen was also in this movie, and he also started in Animaniacs. His main role was Yakko Warner, but there were several other roles. I think he might also have played Pinky but I'm not sure.
Nick uploads a new reaction
Me:…..ok
😂😂
Watch Ever After: A Cinderella Story! Best Cinderella period!!!!
Please watch ‘Ever After’ with Drew Barrymore. Fantastic Cinderella adaptation
The scene where Anastasia let’s Cinderella get Prince Charming reminds me of Emily from Corpse Bride. How both loved a guy, but knew he didn’t love them the way loved the other girl. Yet instead of getting mad and forcing them to marry them. They do the right thing and let them be together.
You should watch the live action the lily james one, its pretty good 💕
