This is for everyone who is saying there controller isnt working anymore.
Just go to with problem instead of all then choose your controller and then click on restart . Its located directly next to install device. My englisch isnt that good but i hope you understood what i was trying to say

Practically this reduces latency of an Xbox controller from ~7ms to ~5.8 ms on average, so the majority of people wouldn't feel it anyway. And this is just a filter on a usb driver that will change the USB polling rate for the controller on the current PC host, nothing is really "overcloked".
I mean thats what overclocking is, removing shit that slows it down like the filter and bringing the best out of its potential
@@xKibz I get your point but it is not what overclocking means. It means that you have some default clock of a CPU, GPU, whatever, and you increase it above the default value. This can lead to a performance boost. In our case the USB polling rate is 'overclocked'. However the polling rate is not a real physical clock, but just a USB polling frequency of our controller.

Wrong, all you have to do if it's red is go to Device Manager, Scroll all the way to bottom and right click on xbox controller to Uninstall it. Then unplug the controller and plug it back in then restart the program and it will work when you follow the steps.

Nope, sub 0.1ms on DS5 actually (8kHz polling rate).

You shouldn’t be using 8000hz on ps5 controller this causes damage to the controllers motherboard 1000 max there’s a reason why even the most modern gaming mice only use 1000 trust me 1000hz your sticks will be more accurate

No this overclocks the polling rate of the USB port not the controller itself. Aka it doesn't do anything if you then use the controller on a console or plug the controller into a different usb port on the pc.
If you hold the power button on your pc for 5 seconds at the same time you re-plug in your controller (and do this 8 times in a row), then on the 8th time your polling rate will jump from 1000hz to 8000hz
Unplugging the power sped this up!

Only on PC, because this tool supports only windows os. And improvement is not significant, from 7 ms to 5.8ms, you wouldn't feel it.

@@KabeerThePro Yep, driver filter works with any hid device like kb or mice. But chances are high that your kb and mouse are at least usb full speed with the 1k polling rate, so this "overclock" will be useless. Modern gaming keyboards like Corsair have a GUI tool where you can change the USB polling rate.

@@KabeerThePro If you have a laptop, the builtin keyboard usually is not connected with the usb, so you can't really affect it's polling rate. Only if u use external usb kb. Also, the response time depends on the keyboard keyscan frequency and key debounce settings, so changing USB polling rate might not help.

It works best for Dualshock. Ps4 and PS5 controllers to be exact. The other stuff I do not know.
I just did mines like you said But ! on my (duel sense edge) and the 1000 came up right after the installation but my bar was empty and pink where the (1) and the name of the controller was suppose to be at ? ????? What does this mean . I’m about to play a game of ware zone hopefully I didn’t cause any damage 😔
bro the same happened to me and it never shows a 1 it shows a 5 for me and when it does turn pink you gotta remove your remote from the PC connected devices and reconnect it or pair it. im trying to figure out how to overclock it and have the 1 like everyone else but there seems to be no vids.

I think 8000 it’s better if u have that option cuz i have ps5 controller and it says 8000 too but when i put it on 1000 my blnterval says 4 and not 1 but when i put it in 8000 it says 1 idk so try the one you feel better but in my opinion i think 8000 its better
@@abelvelez2787 if you look up lquid he shows you how to fix that but I found out it works better on 1000 for me and it pops up as a 1 for me

@@Huuex you close it after your set the OC. It saves it :). CHeck it every so often to make sure it still saves it but other than that you can close the app once OC is set.

Its only for pc. You are only changing how your controller interacts with that specific device.

i had the same headache. if you tried deleting the program re-download it and instead of clicking "all" go to the bottom of the dropdown list where is says "with problem" and it should be there then just untick filter on device and install service and thats what fixed it for me. Hope it helps :)

@@mattiadicaterino3021Just uninstall the program and look for the file that was installed on your PC. Delete that file and your port should work again.

@@mk--1896 You have to go your Registry Editor.
"Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SYSTEM\CurrentC ontrolSet\Control\CI\Policy" then add a new DWORD (32-bit) value, name it
"UpgradedSystem" and leave the value on 0.
Then Restart PC
And finally follow the usual steps to overclock your controller as you did on W10.
