You have exactly the kind of initiative and out of the box thinking most people don't. I love this. Thank you for showing others how to do it!

Thanks for the informative video, I know it's over a year old, but it's still very relevant. Most of my own hats I've made by buying patches I like and sewing them to Richardson 112 or 115 lids and it never occurred to me I could make this a profitable hobby-business.

An idea that would be low hanging fruit. Go to local golf courses and make magnets out of their logo... A couple months before Christmas they will ALL be interested

Nicely done - that was a great bit of hustle! Just wondering if there are any potential trademark issues at all in using those images?

Yeah there is. Any licensed characters can get you a cease and desist but occasionally engraving things especially locally is pretty harmless. 👍🏻

Hey thanks for the video love the out of the box thinking, I just got my d1 pro 10w less than a week ago and have loved playing around with it. As a noob I was wondering where you got the design for all the logos and characters. And how you got them on the program. Also what materials did you use? Thank you very much

    • @TheReformationWoodshop

You can just google search anything that you’re looking for and add the work “SVG” after it. It’s a file type. Save it to your computer and then drag it into your program. 👍🏻 with the diode laser you can engrave on so many materials. It’s best to check the XTool website.

  • @deckruler3802

Exactly my thoughts. You’re essentially making money off their characters and movies. I would be worried about being sued. I know Disney don’t like it and have come down hard on Etsy shop owners for it in the past.
