The fact is carp will pick up tench baits so you have to prepare for this with your gear. you've got to be able to handle the carp and not leave them trailing a rig because your gear wasn't man enough. Good video!
so ur fishing for tench with basically big carp gear.?? on buzzers. i fekkin dispair at the modern angler these days. uve had carp to high thirties on this gear but most tench average between 4 and 6lb.
Hes using heavier rods than say a quiver tip rod and heavier line incase he hookd a big carp and also to prevent going into snags etc............ if he was looking more to carp he would be using more like 2.25lb test+ and 14lb+ line..........
