Here's the haul: • Come yarn shopping in ...
We spent 3 whole days in this fantastic city taking in the sits sounds and smells - and more importanly the yarn!
We flew out with Turkish airlines and stayed at the Hotel Saba Sultan, Istanbul (Booked through Expedia) on February 20th 2024
The main place for the yarn is located in Mahmutpasha, you need to look out for the 'yarn beacon' I show you on Day 1 of the vlog.

We also got the ferry over to the Asian side of the city on day 3 of the vlog and went shopping at Elişi Yün Evi Erol Tekstil - which is an absolutley fantastic shop with friendly staff!

Love the tour ! On a travel vlog they said the whole town feeds the cats ! They keep down the rodents! I saw bowls placed on the streets for water too! My cat is older but was a very good mouser ! 😂❤
I will 100% be going to Istanbul after seeing this 😍 it looks incredible and I cant believe the prices!! Need to use up some of my current stash and save a bit but we will definitely be going!!

Wonderful yarns, and you definitely went to the right places for yarn shopping in Istanbul. Kurkcu Han is one of the place you can find most of the yarn brands. And first and third places where you went in Kadikoy are nice places. There are other many stores all over Istanbul but it would be so hard to take bus etc and go those places. And most of them are local places and not in touristic locations. I have a huge yarn stash in Turkey and when I go to Turkey each time I am trying to bring very small portion of it with me to UK 😅 it may take forever.

Such a nice video!❤🧶 Reminded me of my trip to Istanbul this year (January). I had the same problem at the border control, they binned my crochet hook, knitting needles and a manichiure scissors.🙄 Tough rule!😢

Thanks for vlogging it all- so interesting to see somewhere I've never been and unlikely to go (chronic illnesses), so to see everything (not just the gorgeous yarn- that multicoloured heritage yarn looks incredible!) is incredibly satisfying 🥰 off to drool over the haul video.....🤣😘
