Thank you very much for this well done video. Everything is easy to follow. My Note 9 is already quite worn out but I still want to use it a little bit. Battery was dead twice.. changed it. But now my rear camera seems to become unable to film correctly the colors.. (too white images..(overexposed looking) and no more sharp details especially when zooming. I need to have crisp video quality for my youtube channel. So now thanks to your video I will take apart the venerable Note 9 and just hope that by cleaning contacts and such minor actions I can regenerate an acceptable image quality. Otherwise the cameras will have to replaced.. and it looks quite easy to do. I'll put all the little screws on a dish to not lose them. NICE that people like you provide to others such wonderful help.
is it possible to take back glass off without breaking it? if just the camera is broken? I seen other videos where the rear glass breaks if you using tool to remove it?
Is the replacement as good as the original? I mean, will it still be capable of recording in 4k 60fps and all those features?
I have found it impossible to find this information. The OEM replacement part certainly doesn't look as well machined. After the replacement I'm not 100% convinced the OEM part is as good. Can anyone confirm the OEM replacement rear camera specs?
I made a change of the camera as in the video, then I turned on the cell phone, I cleared the cache but even when I activate the camera, only a black screen remains, can you help me, what do I need to do?

How do you swap the camera lens from a broken rear glass to a replacement glass that doesn't come with a lens?

After replacement will it still be water resistant?
It was not water resistant to start with huge number of note 9 phones have failed due to water damage. If you use a new sticker for the back it will be as resistant as it was from the company.
I replaced the camera sensor but after replacing the camera and launching the camera app it says "camera failed" Any idea why?! The sensor was actually purchased from your website.

I replaced outer lense on mine ,but if i try to scan a barcode or take a pic of anything small its blurry any ideas of why
You need the correct module for the phone. Exynos or snapdragon versions

That black pad part is not a motherboard frame. It is a wireless charge pad. All in all you guys who try to dissemble the phone, you should place a soft mat before you begin to prevent scratching the phone.

Camera failed. Purchased from you guys. How to fix this?
When replacing the camera, you should disconnect the battery. Or else the motherboard or the camera could be hurt by static electricity.
@@EricWitrigs the the battery flex cable is disconnected before you can take out the motherboard

@@Max.527 I returned the camera. It wasnt the right one. Note 9 has two different rear cameras. You can tell by the length of the flex cable. Get the right one for your phone.

I have this problem. Sadly in my place, phone repair shop doesnt have any motherboard or note 9 camera sparepart. I plan to buy another phone.
