Marina....I studied in Russia as a foreign student, and when I arrived, I was only 17. I learned the Russian language, and it eventually became my mother tongue. Over the phone, no one could distinguish whether I was a foreigner or a native Russian speaker. Fast forward 24 years, and I now find myself in an English-speaking country. My problem is that, although I understand English well and can write decently, my speaking is not fluent. Even after 24 years, I sometimes subconsciously mix Russian words while speaking. Russian is something deeply rooted in my temporal lobe. I'm going to buy your book with the hope of gaining a good grasp of English language.

I took that course " Intermediate to Advanced " it is very helpful if you really want to break through. But practice is essential
I have improved my English talking outloud with myself twenty minutes a day every day and to me it's working. I feel more confident but not much 😅.

Marina, Can you speak German so well? You are a quick learner. I have the same problem Marina as you said, I can understand your English so well, but cannot speak fluently like you. Marina as you said I have to practice one or two new English words daily and make sentences with them to speak English fluently. You are my best teacher Marina

I am almost at C1 level. I can read most of academic texts and my listening is good. When it comes to speaking, I am good most of the times, but occasionally I find myself not as fluent as a I want to be. I mean I am pretty fluent most of the times, but sometimes I cannot communicate very effectively. Sometimes, I need to practice what I want to say beforehand. I want to speak English like my native language. I took your Advanced to Proficiency course. It was amazing. However, I still want to improve my speaking skills. What can I do?

This is me Marina. I have been very frustrated because I lived in Uk since June last year and I’ve had 6 months of English school and now I m working at charity that I always feel like as silly and stupid. Sometimes they speak to me and I try to say something but I just don’t know how I can answer that. In the most of time is a simply sentence but just I ve stopped or speak words that don’t fit in the sentence. This is all, I hate English but I need it.
