@@ryanr4181 I have a few IH pieces in addition to my Brave Star. Both are amazing quality. And they both have completely different feels and looks to them. I will say I love both.
please state how brave star Ture Straight fits compared to other jeans. Most specifically Levi's 501. Also, how much did they shrink after a wash? Thanks
They True Straight fits a little tighter in the seat and thighs than Levi 501's. I have the Uppercuts, which are also a stiffer fabric than say the Cone Mills. I wash in cold water and I do not put mine in the dryer after washing, so I have little shrinkage. I would say they go back to about stock after washing, but stretch back out after a day or so of wearing. Since I hang dry, they do get a bit stiff (as all denim does). So a trick I use is to toss them in the dryer with no heat and a few bath towels and tumble them for 5-10 minutes. This will help to soften them back up a bit and make them much more comfortable to wear right after washing.
Not a knock against these Jeans or company, Uniqlo has free hemming on their salvege jeans which are 40 bucks. However they are more of a thinner salvege, but for beater jeans and general look not dressing a little nicer or better you can’t beat them.

@@jeffgrantMEDIA yep I’ve seen iron sails video, I have 4 pairs of the Uniqlos on the way as well as A pair of brave star gauntlet and onyx. I’m new to the selvage space however I thought it would be best to air on the side of a couple of pairs of really denim and some more pairs of the more budget option. Especially as we move into winter here In Wisconsin as well as summer I only ever wear Jeans and buy new/replace my old supply before fall hits hard. I was buying mostly old navy jeans during my time in college however in high school I wore a bunch of my father’s 505s from the 70s I really wish I had hung onto those

@@marcushynek7075 those old 70’s Levi’s are as good as gold. They will probably still wear like iron today. New Levi’s will wear like a paper towel.
