  • Sometimes my guy Roger Federer can get a little arrogant during his interviews. Can't blame the man, however, with the number of stupid questions tennis players receive. This is a quick compilation of Federer's funny and slightly arrogant interview moments.
Rafael Nadal's accent and charisma might be some of the best things in the tennis world. This video brings you Rafa's funniest interviews and other nice moments. Roger Federer definitely agrees!

For his 20+ year career, I think the most
arrogant thing Federer has ever said was:

Oh yea! I dare anyone to counter that logic! Why is that arrogant when he feels he’s speaking 💯 % the truth. He literally was the greatest player alive at that time! He was a bad fucking ass in that time and I believe every word he said. Remember he was sooo dominant around that time he was blowing everyone away. So they had to slow the courts down because he was dominating so bad they wanted more ppl to watch so they changed the game because of HIM!!

Novak on the other hand, what an arrogant piece of shit. Every time that guy opens his mouth, nothing but cocky drivel comes out of it. It doesn't matter what he says. Arrogant bastard. Roger is a little arrogant, but who wouldn't be? I see it as having the confidence to call idiotic reporters when they're crap at their job. Is he miffed that Novak had his card years ago, yes but again, who wouldn't be? As Novak has said many times in the past, Roger and Rafa are the reason he has become the player he is today. They forced him to get better physically, mentally, technically and tactically. Unfortunately for them, Novak is a very astute and dedicated learner and scholar of the game. He has taken tennis to a level never seen before...EVER. If I was Federer, I'd be happy for Novak but ever so slightly narked off, hence the ambivalent demeanour he sometimes gives off. I do like his dry sense of humour though.

Roger, slow?!? You have to be blind, Federer might not be the fastest player, but he is far from slow (ok yea last year he is slower, but in general during his career definitely not), he has always relied on movement efficiency, not on speed. That's why throughout his career he almost always ran a lot fewer meters in total compared to his opponents and for me the biggest reason he has such a long career. I agree, Roger is slower overall, but that's not a negative in my opinion, a negative is his backhand is one handed and not two handed. The biggest negative in matches with Nole and Rafa however is his strategical and tactical plan. Too often he has gone exactly in their type of game and loses as a consequence, for many years against Rafa he continued insiting playing too many inside out forehands on Rafa's forehand for example.
