10:10, NO! You should justp ut it into the machine and do "re-spin". The motor will apply heat to the pint by spinning, so you just keep re-spinning till the right consistency is there!

Do you know of the single serve recipes will work in the deluxe? I just purchased this thinking it was single serve.

they will. the deluxe is a 24 OZ cup. so anything at our below that level will work. also, the delux can blend just the top or just the bottom. you can actually make 2 different ice creams in the same cup too. I havent tried that, but I will soon.
