- In this animation we follow Iggy the Overseer, on their mission to find a creature from the Rain World suitable to take up the task of bringing Neuron Flies to the fallen Iterator, Looks To The Moon. Will they succeed? Can't tell you. Enjoy the animation!
Been working on this one for approximately 2 months and it's FINALLY HERE.
All the music in this video comes from the Rain World / Downpour OST. I only made the animation.

I'm just imagining what sort of a journey that little jetfish must've went on in order to actually bring back some neurons
I can just imagine a short animated bit of small moments of its travel
For example: The Jetfish frantically flopping to avoid the king vultures who want to spear a fishy snack, flying up the wall via water propulsion (Either just straight flying or doing their best cyan lizard impression), floating in a spin down one of the horizontal anti gravity tunnels, Pebbles staring incredulously at the Jetfish and panning between them (Jetfish staring two different directions), Jetfish being ejected out of the pipe , Jetfish going Kirby on the Neurons, dodging the DLL’s who want a fishy snack, and etc)
_This was just supposed to be the 2nd and 3rd things, but brain took over_

Lmao the phyco scav is so accurate sometimes scavs are stupidly cracked for no reason
I had one that seemingly murdered its friends for no reason? Like i didn't see any threats and i was just chillin with my kids n the tribe since i got the chieftain achievement but bro just started throwing spears at them. He threw a warning shot at me and my kids but didn't kill me. Scavs are definitely stupidly cracked sometimes

3:36 Wow! Somehow, I’ve never considered that iggy purposefully baits you to shoreline with the slugcat icon.
(Also that bit was masterfully weaved into the animation. Love iggys realization at the survivors reaction to the hologram)

Ahhh this is so good! I love seeing 5P's overseers essentially saying no bitches... it's so good and the soundtrack/sound editing only further adds to it!

This is really well made and also funny because this is exactly what happened when i first played the game. I thought the overseer was leading me to other scugs and when it didn't.... well.

@@Foxett25 listen i was playing as monk and i was starving because of the parkour in the previous room. moon conveniently had 5 neurons
also this might not help my case but i thought she was an alien so i hated her by default. once i found out she was actually more like a computer i felt very guilty

I also played monk, i thankfully ate the bubble fruit in the previous rooms. In any case, everyone makes mistakes (Mine was going to drainige in my first playtrough :'( )

@@Stopo4kalandfill hunters quest actually takes place before the survivor’s timeline (which is why moon is revived for survivor) but yeah I totally got the character wrong anyway so

I love all of the little interactions you've animated that are observable in game, like the overseers talking to each other. I've also always imagined iggy as a very loyal overseer trying to help their iterator

FIVE MINUTES OF RAIN WORLD ANIMATION? FOR FREE? I love how much art and attention this game has gotten since downpour it’s my most favorite game ever
Okay,If theres any rain world animations that should be awarded "best RW animation of the year" It should be this one (although i Will admit i havent watched many).
Between the overall story and premise,the humor with things like "no water",the Twist at the end and even the credits and post credits bits,It honestly really is awesome.
Also, any form of artist gets respect from me, because i know How dificult It is to create things,so a 5 minute animation of this quality gets at least 5 times more respect than CJ at the end of GTA San Andreas, considering its basicaly drawing an entire screen so many times It creates something coherent.
Honestly not entirely Sure If i should be surprised It was approved by videocult,It really is Just that freaking good.
Definitely Will be subscribing,i CAN wait for the next animation, considering its already a pain in you-know-where WITHOUT people pressuring you.

Jesus Christ this is incredible, I love the story and animation, and it reminds me of how when I first played rain world, seeing that it wanted me to get neurons for pebbles, and the fish at the end giving moon a hell ton of neurons was the cherry on top

I love this so much! The story is great and the overseers’ designs look great. It must have been really hard to make a teleporting worm as expressive as it is.
Oh this is a phenomenal fan content, and an instant subscribe from me! And you got props from the devs as well! I cant imagine how that must feel as an artist to recieve a nod from the creators! So much personality and care put into every critter. The scavs going from badass wastelanders to goofy PORL lovers made me laugh.
The ending was also very charming, and sadly very reminiscent of my own first time visiting LttM. (I was hungry and didn't know any better D:)
P.S. hungry gourmand at the end was too cute!

As someone who hasn't played Rain World, this was incredible.
Go play it, or if you're like me at least watch a lore video, there's so many jokes that you won't get if you don't know the game

Jokes aside, if you have max karma (X) you can just pass past them. If not... Well, you can either go industrial complex→chimney canopy→Exterior (Path of parkour)
Or you can go shaded citadel → memory crypts → Exterior (Underhang+leg) and reach, cancer party.

Which path should i use? I have 1 Passage and am currently in subterranean
@@hollowknightfan5938 Depends: are you better at combat or at parkour? And also which path you've unlocked the farthest in (Ex: it's much better to go from shaded to leg to the place, than from Industrial to chimney to wall to the place.)
In short: depends on if you want to fight or flee, and what locations you've unlocked.
Ye, it was the first time I reached the moon and, not knowing what to do, I tried to eat these neurons
this is so underrated, even if it has only been out for 2 days it deserves way more views

I am glad this didn't happen, but i cant help me proud for that Jetfish, the journey into pebbles and back is not an easy task, especially for a water creature.
Hearing moon scream made me make a face of panic. Moon is my favorite character.

SPEECHLESS!!! Beautiful animation work, the effort and detail is on a level I’ve never seen before!! Purely magnificent work, the storytelling (+creative storyline!) was very well thought out and executed, the shot/screen direction was fantastic, the creative use for sound effects was gorgeous, the pacing was incredible and lines up to the audio of the sound effects very well, and the characters are just super expressive, consistent, and well drawn!! The music too omg 😭😭💖💕!!! Glorious gorgeous MAGNIFICENT (I don’t use that word a lot, this is top tier for sure!!) work done here, wonderful job well done ^^💫✨

Perfectly sums up my first playthrough. Eating Moon's neuron without thinking of the consequences before reading up the wiki so I have to restart the run again.
I almost ate Moon's neurons but the overseer screamed at me to stop
Speaking of I just reached moon and ate the neurons. Then after know the consequences intentionally drowned myself to real back the clock. But I still don't know how to proceed and I don't want to look up the answer because I'm afraid of spoilers on what happens after I do what I need to do. Can you help me?
@@pyritepirate3991 You really only need to talk to her. If you can’t yet, just follow the overseer’s direction. A certain area will give you what you need.
@@the711devin4 I am at her but I can't talk with her yet how far do I need to backtrack?
@@pyritepirate3991 You need to get back to the outskirts. From there, get to the industrial complex and then to the Chimney Canopy. Keep moving through areas and you will get there.

I've just gotten into Rain World recently and this is the first actual animation I've seen of this game, and damn is it good. Would love to see, there needs to me more animations of this game!
5:00 although there are no voices in the animation i can still hear the Overseer saying "ah son of a bit-" and being interrupted halfway through
OOOOH i love this animation so much, the little interactions within the other overseers and the initial instinct of the slugcat to throw rocks on iggy lol. and yeah i also expected the scav to start murdering iggy once it showed pebbs and moon. but i didn't expect it to up and just murder the vulture and PIERCE ITS MASK with a goodbye spear
and yeah you also portrayed that iggy used the survivor's family as bait so that he'll follow him, and at the end Hunter get's pissed at survivor for killing moon after the shit hunter had to go through just to revive moon AND ascend lol
also props to the jetfish, not gonna question how it got up from the leg to underhang though he probably passaged....

a full on short movie of rain world, absolutely amazing! 2 months of work for an absolute masterpiece, I loved every second of it lol. really solid animation too! and genuinely hilarious at times. And that ending, so absolutely destroying for the poor overseer but the exact thing I did in my first (and never finished) playthrough lol

This is the greatest Rain World fan animation of all time.
Would have been nice if the crazy Red Scav wore the vulture mask as a nod to the Elite Scavs in Artificer’s campaign. Also noticed that it was in the last vid’s thumbnail too. Probably gonna be a recurring future character.
