I wish india wasn't divided, just to complete their political goals they (the politicians) imposed their decisions on thousands of people. There was so bloodshed and bcoz of there single stupid decision a rift has been created between hindus and Muslims I wonder how much painful it must be for them to lose their family members in the riots & to relocate to a unknown location. Their pain can't be explained in words and that's the reason people in those days know what is love, patience, hardwork, brotherhood & humanity. Indeed we indians are resilient to every kind of pain, from world war 1 and 2 to British oppression we have always stood together and have helped each other. This song is a beautiful memory for all those indians who lived in undivided India.
