I still dont understand why is it about rams horn not of the cow. Nobody explains that. Everyone who is trying to explain this mistery is really beating around the bush.

She explains it at 1:20. A cow's horn is karetin not bone and it will not work. The bone is in the center not the outside.

Thank you so much! I am a Christian and I have been blowing the shofar for years. I plan to blow the Shofar on September 12 before and after I preach a sermon based on Joel 2. I now have a deeper understanding why I have always been drawn to the sound. I have blown this sacred instrument before Church service starts. Thank you for being such great teachers.
