Really looking forward to the update. JB is innovative, a properly valved fork and shock are important but face it. The factory bikes a have works suspension that us mere mortals will never see the inside of. I can vouch for the JBI properch, 💯 gives you more confidence on over jumping or when you get a long steep downhill with huge breaking bumps. If you are even thinking about getting, just do it.
Very interesting… so basically it’s relocating the damping to a lower spot so it engages sooner? Please correct me if I’m wrong. Would this be beneficial for Harescramble riding or mostly moto?
The actual dampening is all performed inside the fork cartridge itself which is where all the valving shims are located, the oil in the inner cartridge is isolated from any oil and air in the outer tubes to prevent cavitation or air bubbles in the oil, the oil in the outer tube is to provide bottoming resistance..
Hello and thanks for the comment. The JBI Ti Pro Perch provides more bottoming resistance compared to the stock WP Spring tubes. For off-road setups and harescrambles that need plush and soft suspension the JBI Ti Pro Perch compliments that’s by providing additional bottoming resistance/control. So you can maintain a soft / comfortable off-road setup while maintaining good bottoming control. The product page will be live on RideJBI.com this week with more in-depth info.
Since the JBI Ti Pro Perch is more effective then the stock WP Spring Tube, lesser oil volume can be utilized in the fork outer chamber. This means the JBI Ti Pro Perch will engage the oil later in the fork travel. Lesser oil volume means the lower oil height in the fork. The product page is now live but will continue to get updates.
Although not on the website yet, the WP JBI Titanium Pro Perch is in stock and available for purchase. Give us a call at 480-269-5585 to place an order - Anthony

They make the forks feel smoother AND they increase bottoming resistance?? Would this part be useful for trail riding?
