    Thanks this is a great Video. I am just going down the rc 600 rabbit hole myself and you gave me some great ideas

      That’s great to hear. I think the looper is a wide open platform for creativity.

    The first track syncs with rhythm but when i switch over to another track, the track does not syncs with rhythm. All my tracks have sync mode switched on. Any insights?

    Hi George, how do you edit knob 1 to 4 in order to get those special functions?

    Congratulations again, these are the videos that go, the ones that are made from sincerity.
    Thanks for warning about this synchronicity problem.
    You sound great with the Joyo and that other tremolo and reverb pedal.
    As you say in the video, perhaps the integrated boost effect can be useful, just as I have seen you in other videos take very good advantage of the reverb for the voice and I suppose that the fact of having an octave to simulate a bass is great help, but the rest of the effects I don't like too much from what I hear in others videos (I haven't been able to buy the unit yet).
    Could you tell me if you see it possible to use the two phantom microphone inputs of the Rc 600 to feed a stereo microphone, like the Rode NT-4 that I have, to record an unamplified acoustic guitar?

    • @LRCDetroit
      @LRCDetroit  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Emilio! I'm sure the RODE mic would work great with phantom power from the RC. I admit my expectations have been very low for the quality of the FX. I do think they are more than adequate for a live situation or even recording. Some are better than others, but overall they sound "good enough" to get the job done. I have played through tube amps most of my life so I wasn't expecting the amp sims to be any better than the Katana programs. I like those too but find the simplicity and tone of the little Joyo to work even better. I am still waiting for Laura to do her vocal demo! I'll hook up a condenser mic too so you can hear it. The audio quality of the 600 is superb. What goes in, comes out with the same fidelity.

    Is that just the pedal straight into the recording interface you're getting that sound from

    • @LRCDetroit
      @LRCDetroit  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes…although I may be playing through a little Joyo American pedal and Keeley trem going in. Simple setup. What goes into the 600 comes out clear and hi-fi, uncolored and neutral.

    Thanks for this video, can you please tell me how/where you found the rhythm level?
    Thank you in advance.

      Hi Eric-sorry this question has been unanswered. Easy...press MENU, then select MIXER using the push/rotary button, from the first page use page arrow over to the last mixer page where you'll find RHYTHM OUT.

    I noticed you have Akai force. Are you using it in conjunction with the Boss 600 ?
    I also have Akai Force. Does it make sense to additionally buy a looper ?
    I want to have instant access to recording and effects . Unfortunately, there is no such thing on Akai Force.

      Hi there-I have used the Force clocked to the 600 with success. Though when switching loops on the 600 I have not been able to switch scenes on the Force. Play/Stop works fine. I definitely would like to do more with the two machines together! Also, yes having the 600 to loop with your feet makes sense for me as a guitarist. A lot easier than the Force.

      I'm not a guitarist, I'm a keyboard player. But I also want to have a looper.
      What can you say about the RC 505 and the Hedrush Looperboard ?
      why did you choose RC 600 ?

    • @LRCDetroit
      @LRCDetroit  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@СССРТВНижнийНовгород I bought the RC600 because of the ability to store 6 loops in one program, use the rhythm machine and fx with my feet. Also, the routing is fantastic. Lots of inputs and outputs which works for well for a duo or trio live. There are a lot of little features that appeal to me too, like the ability to program button function to whatever you prefer. I believe the 505 is very similar but made for tabletop? The Headrush I don't know much about at all. I think it depends on what function the looper will serve in your world.

      Thank you very much, it's a good thing you're there because you're the only person I trust in these judgments as I consider you a true professional.
      In any case, those videos will come in handy to give me a better idea, although you have already convinced me and this is going to be the device I work with in the winter.
      Forgive me for being so fussy, but anyway all my life I've only played with tube amps, and even later passing the microphones that captured their sound for more tube preamps, so imagine.

    Hey there! I'm curious what you're using to power your rc-600? The provided power cable or a dc power source.

    I'm wondering if you have this volumes set up so you don't have to reach down during a gig?

    • @LRCDetroit
      @LRCDetroit  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Dan-yes for sure. I tried hard to keep consistency when recording my loops. It is nice to be able to balance as you go though. I can turn up the rhythm or loop independently and change kits quickly. No more tedious than having a huge pedalboard to tweak 😁

    • @dancassidy7471

      @@LRCDetroit so I'm guessing you have midi controls to adjust loop volume and percussion

    • @LRCDetroit
      @LRCDetroit  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dancassidy7471 actually I just assigned the knobs under the tiny screen to RHYTHM volume and LOOP volume. If you use a separate mixer, you can easily do the same routing the sub outputs into the mixer. It was easy though doing a performance without a separate mixer, just the RC600 alone! The only issue was keeping the vocal mic volume consistent from song to song while using vocal input fx. I'm definitely going to make a video about that very subject. Like I said, an external mixer solves everything but trying to use the RC alone would be very efficient for doing certain gigs.

    Hi mate. I'm having a major phasing type issue with my guitar. I run a tap tempo in to my rc600. It comes out and goes to a kaoss pad. I put my drums in the kaoss then tap in to the looper. It's all in sync then I sent my drums from kaoss to looper.
    The issue is when I tap a tempo and play it in to the kaoss it then somehow gives my guitar a phasing type issue. It's really frustrating.
    I've turned of all effects and stuff but still nothing. It's doing it without anything actually been sent it to the loop. The guitar is fine pre tapping the tempo and recording it in to kaoss pad.
    Any help would be awesome 👌

    • @LRCDetroit
      @LRCDetroit  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there-that’s a tough one! I’m not familiar with the Kaoss system and can only try to guess what may be the issue…so take this lightly.
      I have noticed the RC does have very slight latency when recording with the insert fx. However, it hasn’t interfered or become unmanageable. I’ve also thought the time stretching algorithm is not very good, so it’s possible you are hearing the RC adjust tempo to the tap and it’s mangling your signal! I set tempo manually so my experience in that area is limited. Wish I could help more!

    I own this Looper and I hate it. I would read reviews on seller sites like Guitar Center or musicians friend. This looper does some cool stuff, but it also crashes often and sometimes randomly changes tempo mid songs. If you play in front of an audience it will embarrass you and make you look like your not professional. I have wasted so much time and money trying to make this POS work correctly.
    I wish I never sold my old looper. It had less lights and buzzers, but it worked and was dependable.
    I am starting to think that there just isn't enough processing power in this device and no firmware update is gonna fix what never worked. I feel cheated and I want my money back. Shame on Boss for this abortion of a loop pedal.
