After a few days of practice, I'm ok with the left hand. But I'm stucked ( glued ) with the right hand. I can't get the jazz feel to play the chords right before or after the beat. It must not be easy to explain but can | hope that you make something about rythm... it would be very helpfull. Thanks anyway again and again !

@@JohnFred1964 Yes this is something that takes time to get right and "feel". It will come with listening to jazz a lot. When you listen to a record, try to focus on the chord "stabs" of the piano in the left hand, or, when another instrument is soloing. See if you can start to clap along with the rhythm. I'll have a think about how to explain it better in a video. Keep at it though and be patient, it will come with practise. It is one thing to logically know where in the bar to play, but absorbing the feel through listening will make the difference

I really dig your soulful soloing approach! How do I get to work with you about how you approach riff development over changes?

Another great lesson. it's a cool trick; for descending, it's an easy four note progression, for ascending, an additional chromatic note is added. I'd be very interested in the other ideas you tossed out for bass lines in cases of modal songs or songs that dont have the convenient progression that Autumn Leaves has.

Very helpful and simple to implement. Like the way you improvise. Any ideas on learning this?

The best tip i can give for improvising is just keep trying things and listen to a lot of jazz, and try to copy phrases you like, and then you can vary them
