Never flush a transmission, unless you want to stir up all the junk in the pan and send it back through the transmission. Dump the pan and clean it.
It always amazes me how many people won't take 5 seconds to google the vehicle they're about to buy. If they did Stellantis, GM, Tesla, Nissan, Land Rover, Jaguar, BMW, Mercedes, and many more would be out of business.
The Nissan Frontier is a solid truck. The rest of their vehicles are junk.
I have had, toyota, honda, lexus, subaru cars,and my tesla model 3 and Y are the best cars.

After seven years and 106,000 miles, my BMW I3 remains the most economical and troublefree vehicle I've owned in four decades.
I had 5200 miles on my new Honda Ridgeline Sport & went into Honda dealer. They also said they wouldn’t chg it because it didn’t have 7500 miles. They did chg it when I said I’ll pay for it & rotate the tires to the tune of $121. I’m taking it to a mechanic shop from now on every 5,000 miles and gladly pay him. Screw Honda.
Might be prudent to stick with them until your warranties up.
That way they can't claim you didn't take care of it.
5000 miles oil change is better than 7500 miles oil change. It will make the engine run better and last longer.

I live rural area Starlink is a godsend. Yea expensive. No data caps like Hughes net or viasat. No one else available for me
The Boring Company is pretty cool... and the reusable rockets are freaking awesome.
No T-Mobile internet? I pay $40/mo. and get 600mbit/s pretty consistently. Never slower than 300mbit/s.
you dont move to a rural area to have good internet speeds... im not a fan of seeing 15 low orbit satillates in the way of the stars i see at night....

Scotty. There's almost no cell service, especially in mountainous regions, so StarLink is a game changer for rural customers.
Cell service signals are provided by Communication Towers and NOT satellites!
I'm happy for those folks who previously only had Hughes Net. I've never had either, but my folks told me the stories about "satellite internet" way back when.

When I bought a car from the Chrysler dealership they said I get 10 free oil changes with the purchase of a used car. I payed 10k and went in for my first free oil change and they said they didn't know what I was talking about. Make sure you get everything in writing with these scumbags.

What Scotty says about dealerships is true! My fiancé got a used Honda HRV and after a month the drivers side power window did not want to go all the way up. We brought it to a honda dealership (free inspection) and they said after much work of trying to align the window, you are going to need a new window motor - price tag of $1400! Sounded like a lot of crap to me. So I youtubed solutions and found a video of Scotty saying to just spray silicone wd-40 on the edges of the window. A trip to walmart and $3 later, the window worked like brand new! It's been over 5 years and it still works without any issue. That was how I discovered Scotty and have been watching his videos ever since!

I am glad you mentioned the EcoDiesels- I bought a new eco diesel in 2018 and it left my wife stranded on the interstate highway three separate times before the engine finally blew at around 50,000 miles. FCA did replace the engine under warranty- but the truck developed electrical problems immediately after they replaced the motor. I traded the truck in for a Toyota Tundra. I wish I had done my research and never bought the stupid thing- but lesson learned!
I have a 20 Tundra...it's a great truck. The 5.7 v8 has more than enough power.
I need to get one of these for my wife then, LOL

Go live in rural areas Scotty where there is no internet and very few cell towers. Starlink has them all beat. When Cable was first brought out it was pushed as the next best thing for rural folks far from the cities. Who got internet and cable first, the cities.

My GM Holden 16 v broke timing belt and valves got damaged, after repairs with new parts now won’t go past 60 km/h. Is there a way to fix it without habita change whole engine.
Several years ago while on a camping trjp, i met a nice couple from Oshawa area. The fella was a Chrysler Dodge dealership mechanic. I asked him about the eco diesel and he started laughing. He told me a brand NEW RAM needed a replacement engine with barely 50 kms on the odometer.

A fully laden F150 Lightning gets a range of 85 miles. Less when its winter, which in my area is half the year. My fully laden GMC with 280k miles goes 450 miles on a tank of fuel... every time... winter or summer. Try again, Sport.

Hi Scotty! I recently obtained an AMG with the M139 4cyl Engine and have about 1600 miles and want an oil chng. Should I have it serviced at the Mercedes dealership? or a somewhat exotic eruo car mechanic etc like Lucas near Houston or Eurocharged Motorwerks ? Thank you so much for all the great videos!
Toyota's Care Maintenance free program is the same, they do the oil change every 10k miles. I just did the 2nd oil change at 16K miles, did the 1st oil change at 6K and went in at 11K miles and they didn't want to change it. This time they tried to shovel around $600 of crap on me including alignment and some additive to get better MPG , they are trying to rip you off.
I had no issues at all with my 2021 Tacoma. They changed the oil early like I wanted. No issues at all.

I would do a drain and fill on the engine oil between the complimentary oil changes, IF I bothered with the complimentary oil changes at all.
I contacted Chrysler corp about a fuel strap on my 2016 ram. They were great and very helpful. Fixed my ram under warranty it was a $1,000 job nothing out of pocket..

There's not only dealer warranty, but u can claim a consumer warranty for the things u buy , which is sometimes a longer waranty periode then the dealer/manufacturer warranty.!

Honda did me good a 2006 ridgeline and a 2009 crv both with frame recalls they did work on both for free but on the crv they offered 700 to change transmission and rear diff fluids.
Now I know why I havent heard anything about the dodge ecodiesel. Kind of like their cylinder deactivation lifters failing.

had a diesel jeep grand cherokee in my shop a day ago, diagnosis was much deeper than the customer wanted to pay for, i didn’t want to go off of a whim, so we started calling to see if anyone else could help this customer out, all mopar dealers around wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole. diesel shops don’t want to work on it, nobody wants the headache. we didn’t charge the customer and i was still paid for my time, but i hope they found a shop who could help😢
I had a Ford Premium Care policy on my 2003 Thunderbird. It saved me a lot of money because it was a garage queen. Every time I took it in for service on the Premium Care they would try to pad me with all these useless things I did not need. Yes indeed the dealerships are steallerships. I would go to a Ford dealer in Humble Texas for an express oil change because it was convenient and every time they would do a safety inspection and try to get me to change the brakes that were perfectly fine. Rip offs all the way.

GM calculated it would cost more to fix the problem than pay the lawsuits for those killed. That kind of reasoning should be unconscionable, but in corporate America it's business as usual.
Hey Scotty, it’s not the dealership denying the guys oil change it’s Honda. The maintenance minor has to be at 15% or they will not cover the oil change.
I’ve been a dealer technician for 20 years and the dealership stigma is a difficult one to overcome. All the technicians are honest, good people and we just want to provide service. Ensure the vehicles are reliable for customers.
If we don’t do a job right it comes back and we have to do it for free so we always strive for perfection and good work ethics.
For the past five years, we’ve been taking videos of our inspections as well, which is a huge pain in the butt, but the customer can see exactly what we see now and understand why we recommend it no matter what the service writer says.

When Tesla abandoned LIDAR they likely ruined any possible chance of achieving autonomous driving. FSD and Autopilot will probably never reach a level of function that their names imply. These systems should have to be certified by independent organizations prior to their use on America's roads. Tesla now has over 400,000 amateur drivers on America's roads beta testing these features and potentially putting others at risk. They never should have been allowed to do this.

And what is a giant common car manufacturer (European and Japan) mistake, is that they let the plastic timing belt run trough the hot motor oil,so instead of a 80000 miles change interval for the timingbelt, the timingbelts snap already at 30000 miles!
Timing belts running through the hot engine oil instead of timing chains!!
Rubber belts run outside, not in the same place a chain runs.
