    I am hoping for some of your insight on something. I am really wanting to buy the Vertix, but I am concerned about the string angle.
    I am a 29.5” draw length and am 6’ 2” tall. I am hoping you have some advice.

    I'm experiencing a bit of hand shock with my Vertix. Trying to dissect what is causing it. Anyone else notice?

    what's the sight diameter for bowhunting? 1 5/8? or a 2in?

    Great vid, thanks. Appreciate hardcore bowhunter perspective, thats what I'm looking to become. I am about to be a noob bowhunter. Buying a bow as soon as I feel them all out a little more. Studying hard, getting ready. I will get either A: the Vertix B: maybe the TX-5 or Traverse. If you have time. Have an opinion of what would make the best hunting bow for the pacific northwest? Deer, Elk, potentially bigger things. I've shot the Vertix and TX5. The Vertix is easier for me to shoot at the same poundage(low), as a complete beginner shooter. Younger fitter dude here who would like to think I could pull them all back at 70ish. We'll see. Whatever is the best, is what I want. Thanks again.

    Hi Pat. Try a stabilizer 10" -12" if you're struggling with hand torque. They can do magic!!!

  • @xDOOM95

    Can you still adjust draw weight using bow press? Or do you have to use the cam mods?

    • @Buran01
      @Buran01 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Essentially the limbs are #75 draw weight, and the modules regulates the weight you use (60, 65, 70 or 75 punds), the let off (either 80% or 85%) and the draw lenght (from 26" to 30.5"). You need modules for each combination, but don't need to replace limbs or to use a bow press to try different configuratios (again, as long as you get the modules for). Shame that most of the current module production is essentially sold until the end of January to serve full bows, but probably will be easy to get from February and later.

    • @jfgrigs1288
      @jfgrigs1288 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The only downfall to the new mod system is that if you want to go from a 70lbs mod and lower your draw weight down to a 63 by adjusting the limb bolt, you will notice your bow string becomes really loose. I would suggest changing your mods to a 65lbs mod. They only cost about $30. This will also help improve accuracy.

    I wonder why people even buy sitka camo. It’s about as good of a camouflage as ABU camo. I got it on my Halon 32 and loved it for about a week, but I thoroughly regret that decision now. It’s almost as if the camo glows white against a forrest background.

    • @brentcurry9698
      @brentcurry9698 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      G webster You’re wrong, as deer see some colors and turkey see better than we do in terms of color and depth perception. You keep it real though my friend.

      @@brentcurry9698 I had deer walking all over me at 20 yards today in head to toe elevated II, and they didn't seem to mind. This particular sit, I was actually inside of a blind, So the contrast was significantly more pronounced. Camouflage is just like our bows and everything else we do, extremely personal. But I have used a complete sitka system for 2 seasons here and I have never found anything as well designed , warm, and comfortable as sitka. To me it's worth the price and I genuinely don't think I could list a complaint other than the obvious cost. Also, I hunt in mississippi, So we still have a significant amount of greens to go along with the browns and basically no whites, and the elevated pattern has always seemed to work well to conceal me.... I'm pretty sure we could all wear a trash bag, as long as we just don't move , keep our scent in check( as much as possible) , and play the wind accordingly. Anyway, just thought I would share my thoughts. I used to feel the same way you do about the brand, I literally live 15 minutes from where mossy oak was created and have a family member who was a vice president of M.O. marketing for 15 years, So I've always used nothing but bottom land, break up, and shadow grass.

      Cody Gorman I was too! But not every shot maybe say 3 or 4 out of 10 shots.. kind of weird still haven’t really figured it out.. although the last couple times I’ve shot it, it’s gotten a lot better. Don’t know if it had to “break in”.. experiencing same thing though for sure. Keep me posted
