Sorry to say that the title didn't transfer to English very well. Oh well. I should have this one hopefully by the end of the month. Its definitely the most accurate homage of it's type. Militado's line up is hard to beat right now.
The size is correct. This is clearly an homage of a well known mechanical field watch which is this size - and field watches generally are this size or smaller. For many good, practical reasons.
@@stananthalus Cool story. But this isn't a Hamilton, and never will be. They should establish their own identity. A good start would be offering these watches in a range of sizes. And by "range", I mean two. 38s look like I have a dime strapped to my wrist. Btw, 99% of those wearing these watches aren't doing much "fielding". At all. No "practicality" needed.
@@prescottlange No so sure what you mean. 38 or 36 is a pretty standard field watch size. I wasn't trying to suggest this AU$80 watch is the equivalent of an AU$900 watch. But plenty of people seem to like the ML05 a lot and I know quite a few that prefer not to wear $900 or so on their wrist - or don't have that kind of $ lying around and still like the option of wearing something in that style. To each their own.
@@stananthalus It's pretty simple- I was suggesting they offer these watches in a larger size for larger wrists. Arbitrarily adhering to "standard sizes" as dictated by historical Hamiltons (or whoever else) serves no purpose, as they're not Hamilton and 99% of those wearing these watches won't be fielding anytime soon. Or ever. Meanwhile, me wearing a 38 is like the average wrist strapped with a 34. Guarantee they'd be pining away for larger watches as well if they were limited to the latter. Equality of proportion is all I'm asking.

This would look tiny on my junk, and my junk is tiny.
Good watch but with rubber straps is good option
Start making watches in men's sizes.

@@prescottlange Then just get a different type of watch, clearly field watches arent for you.
