Honestly while it would take away the emotional impact I would LOVE to see him come back in some shape or form. He and the other Loki Variants were just too good for this one episode and the fact that he managed to survive his encounter with Thanos opens the possibility of THIS Loki coming back into existence and bypassing his fate.

Well, the real life _movie_ called "The Philadelphia Experiment" with the secret experiment and the teleporting ship. The real life ship USS Eldridge (DE-173), a Cannon-class destroyer escort, was decommissioned in 1992. The (urban legend) "Philadelphia Experiment" was a purported naval military experiment at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, sometime around 28 October 1943, in which Eldridge was to be rendered invisible (i.e., by a cloaking device) to human observers for a brief period. The story is considered a hoax: there is a general lack of evidence for the alleged experiment; the person who started the myth-a merchant seaman named Carl Meredith Allen-admitted that he had made up the story and relayed it to Morris K. Jessup; and the Eldridge's deck log and war diary (preserved on microfilm) show that the ship was never in Philadelphia between August and December 1943.
I cried a little when Loki and mobius hugged as true friends. and showing how much he cares about Sylvie. this shows how far Loki has come as a character. hes has been thru and learned a lot. this show is so amazing I cant get over it.
The relationship between Loki and Sylvie is definitely romantic. not platonic, not just friends. That scene with the blanket were two nervous dorks that didnt know how to manage to be in love. Loki already found a friend, Mobius, he told him "trust the word of a friend". the nexus event was not bc he found another friend in Sylvie but bc they fell in love, that´s Mobius theory that told her too.

He is only half Frost Giant, half Asgardian (on his mother's side). Why do you think Odin, after invading Jotunheim, knew exactly where to find the baby and was willing to adopt the son of the Frost Giant king?? Frigga kept saying she was Loki's mother. In the Edda, the whole reason there was a war between the Aesir of Asgard and the Giants of Jotunheim was because a king of the Giants had abducted a goddess of Asgard and wanted to marry her... although in the Prose Edda it was the goddess Idun, holder of the Golden Apples of Eternal Youth, not Odin's Wife Frigga, who was taken. I wanna see Kid Loki get free and be a young Avenger. Would love to see a joke scene where Sam and Bucky are in Louisiana and somehow Bucky pisses off a gator Loki and it bites his metal arm😂
I love that this is about the End of Time/End of Days, friendship, multiverses....but also about how all those things you tell yourself about yourself and all the things other people tell you about yourself....don't have to be your real story. You can overcome the narratives imposed on you.
What a great reaction, guys. This series is one of the best I've seen in a while that deals with the theme of second chances. It also serves as a reminder that, just because some people see you as being only one thing, not everyone will necessarily see you that way and you just have to seek out the people who will see you as the person you want to become.
I think Loki does like Sylvie more then just a friend Cause of the whole lementis nexus event, I think he liked her for a while , and when on lementis, Sylvie kinda liked him too and touched him gently, that triggered the nexus event so she must mean more then just a friend for loki. So I guess them hugging or kissing in the real world might cause the multi verse of madness which doctor strange has to fix. Which is why I think we haven't seen them affectionately hold hands, hug in real world, and the only time they did that , the nexus event happened
@@mrcheese5383 which remember when mobius said “the nexus event you two caused can bring this whole place down” so maybe if they kiss or hug it will bring down the TVA, but that will be a bad ending if it happens, so hopefully I’m wrong
The multiverse of madness could be caused by multiple things that we've seen so far. It could be the Lokis, but it could also be Scarlet Witch trying to find her kids. Maybe it's all going down at the same time. Also, I agree, I do think our Loki like-likes Sylvie. I'm not sure if her feelings are as strong, but she does care for him. I feel like it's that rom-com trope where the future couple doesn't want to admit to their feelings because of the fear of rejection and no one wants to be the first to make themselves vulnerable so they minimized it.
I swear to god if they pull the story into “loki gets mind wiped and placed back into the moment where he started but Sylvie needs to go find him and wake him up” I’ll be really annoyed because we’ve come to far to not keep this version of Loki. Besides just how cool would it be if these two characters found out who the next big bad was and throughout the next phase we get Post credits scenes of them trying to reach the heroes and warning them of the threat.
The thing about Loki and Sylvie, there is indeed hints of romance between them. I mean their awkwardness in this episode makes it very obvious that they like each other in a romantic way, but they don't know how to express it. But both Loki and Sylvie need the other since (to me at least) they bring out the best in the other. So I think that if Sylvie actually dies in episode 6, we might actually get a very villianous Loki who has seen just how powerful he can be. And while Mobious is a good friend of Loki, I think that Loki's "Glorious Purpous" is with Sylvie (either as romantic parthners or great friends).
Nah they ain't gonna kill her. They said in promo that she's gonna make a hell of an entrance in the MCU because of how much of a badass she is. If anyone is dying it's our Loki sacrificing himself for her. But I really hope they both make it... I don't feel need for another cry.
@@Kronse2601 I don't think they will kill of Loki... again. They know how popular our Loki is, which is (I think) the main reason for this series. But yes I hope they both make it and eventually meet up with Thor. Now that would be a fun scene.
Great episode. The only thing I wish had happened, is Loki having a very quick Frigga flashback as he is trying to focus on enchanting. A little mum moment of inspiration to the same effect as odin encouraging Thor not to be the god of hammers in Ragnarok as Hela gives him the hurt.
Hello! There is also Intimacy that does not have to be romance. He is finally connected on a deeper level without an agenda to two people that share mutual respect and love. Plus he and Sylvie benefit from meet other Loki's. Mobius said in the beginning... a Loki brings the best out of others to excel. The benefit was also returned... seen with Classic Loki actually badass creating Asgard and eventually sacrificing himself this time. This is an amazing series! Next week cannot come soon enough. Cheers!
The quail-things are kinda the same purple color as the reset charges and Alioth, so I wonder if they're some sort of biological monitoring device keeping track of what's happening in the Void? Maybe when we find Kang/He Who Remains/? there will be a bunch of security monitors showing the POV of the birds?
Loki has always been my favorite character in the main MCU movies, he's such a deep character, and having a whole series dedicated to him has been a dream
By far my favorite 40 minutes of marvel in a long time. WandaVision was fantastic, and I enjoyed Falcon and WS, but this series and this episode in particular stand above them all for me
Also, I like you point out loki's connection to the end of time in Norse myth. This show does such a good job of pointing out that even the end has a role for both the good and bad in everything. The good have to stand up and fight to facilitate the correct "end" because every end brings a new beginning with it, even worlds, universes and time.
1. How did you guys not see that was Throg in the jar after you guys have been wanting Throg all this time? 2. The Thanos copter had me laughing until I looked it up and saw it is a real thing from the comics. Then it had me laughing even harder. Great reaction as always you guys.
I really love that when classic Loki is making the city they mix the ride of the valkaries with lokis theme. It really packs an emotional punch while having this cool easter egg.
The greatest and most emotional episode so far...OMG...Ok two things...1) That Mobius and Loki's hug...OMFG can't help it with the tears and 2) That EPIC old Loki moment...Bro...where is my Hot Toy of that mister. Need one ASAP. I was waiting your reaction so badly guys! AWESOME!!!!
The fact that old loki created a fake Asgard just showed how much loki as a being still loved his home and i knew that the rynslinger was bullshitting with miss minutes panicking
Great reaction as always! I was as emotional as Adam when Mobius and Loki had their moment. I would love for y’all to react to the Apple show Ted Lasso if you haven't watched it because comedy-wise it is right up your alley. Stay safe.
I’m so nervous for Tom’s Loki for the next episode. The character growth has been amazing, and I could see them saying ‘we have done all we could’, and he legit sacrifices himself so Sylvie can go on.
Spoiler warning in case I’m right, but here’s a theory: I want it to be Kang. I think we deserve for it to be Kang. But! What if (knowing that it’s Michael Waldron and his style and history with shows like Rick and Morty) Loki and Sylvie walk into that castle and fight whomever lives there, only to find out that no one there has ever heard of the TVA at all. Then they realize that they (Loki and Sylvie) must have been the ones who created the TVA and the Sacred Timeline all along, and they protect it reverently *because* it’s the timeline that brought them and their love together. A self-fulfilling loop paradox.
My problem with that Sylvie has spent almost her whole life wanting to destroy the TVA and disliking the idea of a "sacred timeline" hers and Lokis character arcs they both have gone through would never just flip to "oh we gotta because of a timeline" they are already variants and thus not needing to make a timeloop of.. a version of themselves that isn't even what leads them to that moment just so maybe variation happens that then they brainwash and torture some of the variants
@@muhammeterdaltoker8843 Or Kang is a Loki variant and his guard dog has somehow been "feeding" him the destroyed people and all those minds have driven him insane and he no longer truly a Loki
I honestly can’t pick which Loki was my favourite but classic and alligator are definitely up there. Also I can’t believe throg was in this episode (blink and ya miss it but still there). This might be my favourite Disney plus show and I can’t wait for the finale
I love the subtle details in this episode... the battleship that fires on Alioth was US Navy ship 173: the USS Eldridge, believed to have teleported during an experiment in radar cloaking.
I don't care, Classic Loki's sacrifice while screaming "Glorious Purpose" was the best and one of the most emotional scenes of the season so far!

That’s a good theory
Pretty sure the multiverse of madness will be caused by the destruction of the TVA
You can see that Tom Hiddleston had a lot of fun with President Loki
I swear to god if they pull the story into “loki gets mind wiped and placed back into the moment where he started but Sylvie needs to go find him and wake him up” I’ll be really annoyed because we’ve come to far to not keep this version of Loki. Besides just how cool would it be if these two characters found out who the next big bad was and throughout the next phase we get Post credits scenes of them trying to reach the heroes and warning them of the threat.
Lol This reaction had everything……an Aladdin reference, a Ravonna leg stab, an X-men 3 pruning, and Mobius is back baby!!!!!!
Seriously my favorite notifications are from your channel! Love you guys!!!
Jay will be happy to know that the Thor in the Bottle stuck underground was actually Frog Thor.
Cheers!
Also... your shirt was so appropriate. Classic Loki didn't get older. He leveled up.
Thanos-Copter is SUCH an awesome easter egg. Followed immediately by THROG.
This is the most serious I've seen you guys after a reaction in a while. Shows how invested you are in this show, just like all of us 🤗
The quail-things are kinda the same purple color as the reset charges and Alioth, so I wonder if they're some sort of biological monitoring device keeping track of what's happening in the Void? Maybe when we find Kang/He Who Remains/? there will be a bunch of security monitors showing the POV of the birds?
Loki has always been my favorite character in the main MCU movies, he's such a deep character, and having a whole series dedicated to him has been a dream
By far my favorite 40 minutes of marvel in a long time. WandaVision was fantastic, and I enjoyed Falcon and WS, but this series and this episode in particular stand above them all for me
“Miss TVA won’t give up the sash”
💀😂😂😂
This is one of my favorite channels to watch the reactions for Marvel's shows because you really get emotional with it, I Love that!!!
Also, I like you point out loki's connection to the end of time in Norse myth. This show does such a good job of pointing out that even the end has a role for both the good and bad in everything. The good have to stand up and fight to facilitate the correct "end" because every end brings a new beginning with it, even worlds, universes and time.
When Loki's hand got eaten by Gator Loki, it immediately reminded me of the time Tom Hiddleston played Captain Hook in that Tinkerbell movie. 😂😂😂
the fact that Classic Loki wasn't taken by the TVA because he was in isolation but was taken when he wanted to see Thor was heartbreaking
Honestly I'm thrilled by how well done this episode was! Btw love your reaction guys, specially how emotional Adam gets every week haha
You guys are the only ones I wait for when I look at reactions you guys are awesome! Love from Canada
1. How did you guys not see that was Throg in the jar after you guys have been wanting Throg all this time?
2. The Thanos copter had me laughing until I looked it up and saw it is a real thing from the comics. Then it had me laughing even harder.
Great reaction as always you guys.
The USS Eldridge as well
New subbie. I too totally teared up at Old Man Loki's moment. Also, the romance aspect is there, but it feels like adolescent romance.
Loved that classic loki was the one to get redemption not the boastful loki because he is traitor
Spoiler warning in case I’m right, but here’s a theory:
I want it to be Kang. A self-fulfilling loop paradox.
hmmmm, interesting!
That’s pretty good 👍🏻
My problem with that Sylvie has spent almost her whole life wanting to destroy the TVA and disliking the idea of a "sacred timeline" hers and Lokis character arcs they both have gone through would never just flip to "oh we gotta because of a timeline" they are already variants and thus not needing to make a timeloop of.. a version of themselves that isn't even what leads them to that moment just so maybe variation happens that then they brainwash and torture some of the variants
Not Kang.I think Evil king loki in there
@@muhammeterdaltoker8843 Or Kang is a Loki variant and his guard dog has somehow been "feeding" him the destroyed people and all those minds have driven him insane and he no longer truly a Loki
I honestly can’t pick which Loki was my favourite but classic and alligator are definitely up there. Also I can’t believe throg was in this episode (blink and ya miss it but still there). This might be my favourite Disney plus show and I can’t wait for the finale
YES YOU GUYS DID IT!! YOU REFERENCED MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000!! I KNEW YOU GUYS REMINDED ME OF THAT SHOW WHEN I MENTIONED IT LAST TIME!!
I love the subtle details in this episode... the battleship that fires on Alioth was US Navy ship 173: the USS Eldridge, believed to have teleported during an experiment in radar cloaking.
