There is so much musical talent in South Korea, not the least of course this outstanding violinist. I am amazed at the talent of the Koreans in all of the arts as well as technology. I played the French horn in my youth.
This is surprisingly good , when I saw a young girl and new face on the stage I thought she might not be very good and I was wrong , she is exceptionally good and plays with beautiful tone emotion and passion and I will play the piece too inspired by her.

That is how this concerto is supposed to be by design. This style is somewhat in contradiction to the word "concerto", which originally implies a two-party affair with tension and competition between soloist and orchestra as equal partners. In this one, as you said, the soloist is fully in the driving seat with the orchestra almost in a purely supporting role. With such pieces, there is no real need for a cadenza section as almost the entire thing is a sort of cadenza. Most of the popular concertos performed in music competitions are of this type.

Young is relative. She entered music uni almost 20 years ago and won competition prizes in 2008.
