Peter Richardson I’m going to seek them out. Weirdly I’ve lived in Australia since 1985 (sometimes I was in Scotland or Vietnam or Bali) and never heard of them.
I was at a gig in Cardiff Castle when this album was released. Budgie were on the bill. They were awsome. Status quo top,d the bill, but had a breakdown at the start of the gig! But budgie, after that I bought all their albums. R.i.p. burke shelley. You were a magical.
I love Budgie and I would have never heard of them without Metallica. Love or hate Metallica, their Garage Inc. album still brought new fans to older bands.
Hell yeah it is man. Absolute killer jams on this, Im so happy my Dad got me into these guys and the fact all 6 vinyls i own by them are the orignal imports. My favorite album is "In For The Kill"!!
Best one of thier albums, passed around with the microdots of the 70's.You could not do one with out the other.Seriously us trippers thought the rarer the better Keep up to my pace, crawling through the rat race I don't need no quacktor to tell me why Exploitation, inter city nation We don't need the quacktor to tell us why Oh working an assembly line But the money we make is a bureaucats slime Oh when I'm walking home
This album and impeccable rule. It showed a band stretching out a little but remaining kick ass. I don’t think Black Sabbath can say that with their last 2 albums of the 70s. They are good albums don’t get me wrong but I view the last 2 budgie albums of the seventies are superior to the Sabs last 2 of the decade.
I agree to some extent. Never Say Die and Technical Ecstasy were great in that Sabbath decided to go off exploring some musical areas that took their base fans by complete surprise. And many were really pissed off. Frankly I love both albums for that reason. But I do agree overall that Britannia and Impekkable are superior the Sabbath product of the same time.
@@prairiehawker Agree. Never Say Die is damn good. Tech Ecstacy is pretty good to but NSD is really good, imo. Btw, this Budgie album is damn fine too.
R.I.P to a genius

Everything Budgie does is GOLD.

The music lives on. Excellent.
A very underrated band.
If you haven’t heard Buffalo, a 70’s Australian band, do yourself a favour and google them

God damn this riff is so dirty and badass
Love how BUDGIE still remained heavy and sexy while Rush lost all that and nerded out too much
I love Rush but Clockwork Angel's was a very horrible album.

This is by far my fav of them all
RIP Randy Fritz thanks for the jams
One of my Top 3 favorite bands. I still listen today. Great band.
You were cool if you even knew of Budgie. This is one of my favorite album and song. Turn the black light on and Rock .

Although Budgie was on a major record label, (A&M) the record company did little to promote them...
Wow this is up there with their first 3 albums.

Did someone say IMPECKABLE?
Great sound from a 3 piece band
I love Budgie, but Technical Ecstasy is better than anything they ever put out
I am a " Budgie Head
The bass is thumpalicious...
villevn trumpalacious man
Yes it certainly is, and I really love those drums with those cowbells,
it is amazing how many good bands did not make the north american mainstream ?what a shame, can you say contraversy
"quacktors and bureaucats"
Metallica really liked this band. Metallica got some attention for this highly underated band.
I was only saying that Metallica helped put some attention on a highly under rated band and thats a good thing for Budgie.
@Winterstick549 Burke Shelley & Tony Bourge could fart better songs than Metallica
led who?
I lost my coffee out my mouth when I read that. Not only is it funny...it's TRUE!

@leegeddyfan Thumbs Up my name is no one...
It's too bad they stayed with A&M Records...I think they would have been a better fit with Warner or Atlantic....A&M was bought and gutted btw...
