Yeah sure. thats why in the US people use this in mexican themes clubs and bars as a pallet cleanser for tequillia shots. No one up here in their right mind would eat this or give it to their kids. In California that would be child abuse lol
Im Mexican and a fan of your channel! I have heard and come across alot of negative comments before about Mexican candy being considered “gross.” There is a wide variety of candy flavors in Mexico ranging from spicy to sweet, as you’ve demonstrated in this video. It’s unfortunate that some people generalize Mexican candy as being disgusting because they tasted one that was not to their liking. Thank you for being kind, even when you were not an instant fan with some of the candy you tried in this video! Love your videos, keep up the great work! ❤️
I’m laughing at myself because I’m literally watching someone say “Next up we have this thing..... chomp chomp..... that’s really good.” But I can’t stop watching. 😂
Actually watching you from Mexico, and I am used to these candies and when you were like "It seems like it's filled with chocolate" I was like "Awww, so innocent he doesn't know it's actually spicy candy" 😂 Love your videos man, keep it up
We have all those Mexican candies here in Texas!, I love the tamarind hard candies..The one in the red wrapper, it's a hard ball full of mango or tamarind..The powders you put on fruit. Bananas, Mangos, Strawberries!, they are the best to put the powders on., I hope you like it.
I love these videos! They never get old to me, no matter how long they are or how many I see, and I love that you don't talk obnoxiously like a lot of TH-camrs do, you just film and be yourself, thank you! Always wanted to make some videos like this, maybe in the future, keep it up!
This has to be the best "Trying Mexican" anything video I have ever seen. Direct, straightforward, no mispronouncing of stuff. Glad you liked most of my country's candy.
I have had some spicy candy every now and then some is good some is just really spicy and gross I usually prefer sour like a war head lemon candy over spicy candies a experience in 5th grade wreaked that
i can tell you from experience with both cuisines, that you'd be all over most mexican candies and foods, and vice versa. Mexico loooooves tamarind, and really loves spicy candy.
Long ago I had a Mexican friend that force me to a eat a lollipop. The whole thing was made of red hot chilli powder. It was the spiciest lollipop I ever eaten. 😂
the mazapán at 12:45 is really easy to make. It's nothing but finely chopped peanuts and powdered sugar. When you finely chop the peanuts, it extracts the peanut oil and it mixes with the powdered sugar and it makes a type of flour, in fact, the first part of the word mazapán, maza, is like the Spanish word masa, which is corn flour. The second part is pan, which means bread in Spanish.

For any of the powdered candy, just lick the tip of your finger and dip in for a taste. But like someone else said in the comments, the powders usually go well on fruit.
This is a really nice video. The Mexican flag color candy you had is a really famous coconut candy. Love that one! Really interesting candies and some I have never seen myself being Mexican. Thanks for trying our national candy.
Mexican candy is just great. Grew up eating it and the soil and sour types just hit a spot. Enjoy a lot of them but I'd say the Marzipan Rose one is tops. Really relaxing video and I'm glad that you tried some out. Hope you enjoyed it!

I've tried most of those candies when I used to live in Chicago. They sell that stuff everywhere down there. They also sell it here in NY too. My favorite one is the duvalin.
