I have always been a left-leaning liberal and proud of it. In the past couple years I have come to realize that I have been brainwashed into to disliking anyone who was more conservative. I won't be tricked any more.

Both sides of the political spectrum have great perspectives. However both are operated primarily from ego. There is never anything wrong with being left or right, it's really a matter of presence or ego

When he says to never underestimate the insanity of a society, he is so right . It is easy to see insanity when we look at history books or past events. But insanity comes always in disguise . Exactly, in past history, society wasn't aware of its insanity, as it is not aware today. I am aware, human nature with mob mentality, collective unconsciousness will always make for insanity. I don't have much hope, because tell me when in history was humanity ever conscious? It's a rhetorical question. 😊

You empower & perpetuate whatever you choose to give your attention to or beat the drum of, so to speak. I find that simply shifting my focus from unwanted thoughts to wanted (feel-good) thoughts changes my vibration tremendously. And 'what's happening' (in the world) is merely what's happening--it has not the inherent power to define or influence me, or impact my connection/alignment to my own Truth. I ask myself: What is what happens in the face of who I truly AM (Pure Consciousness)? I am not obliged to attend to events much less react to them. I create my own reality, thought by thought, as do we all, consciously or not.

I think there is the extreme of the person who is so affected by the deception swirling around us now but also the person who is afraid of having negative thoughts or feelings because they are out of touch or ashamed of their anger. It is a psychological tactic to use irrationality and absurdities to attack rational societies. It is a weapon to destabilize a society. It engenders confusion, distrust, and fear. Once fully overwhelmed, a leader emerges to decrease social anxiety and seize power as a dictator. Its very simple, actually, its called psychological warfare.

the man I have been living with for the past 13 years suddenly left, seeking a higher level of happiness and fulfillment. my overall stillness may have been part of the problem. I have a good deal of inner contentment and do not need a lot of external stimuli. I read a lot and I am often in a meditative state of mind as I sit on my balcony or watch a beautiful nature or spiritual documentary. we have been living together platonically for the last 10 years and just had a light companionship. now I believe he wants more and with another woman. I do not fault him. although this sudden change threw me into somewhat of a tizzy for a month or so - because of my connection with God and all I have learned from you, I am settling back down into myself again and regaining periods of inner peace. I have my moments of dread that say " I AM ALONE AT ALMOST 60 !!! UGH !!!" but then I think of you sitting there as if you were listening to my story and just staring at me calmly with no reaction until I say "this I isn't really a "problem" is it?" and you saying "no. it's not". when I think of this imaginary interaction between us, I smile and feel better. hugs.

I am yet to come across a TV channel that is neutral. They are mostly pro-Government applauding everything the Government does or anti-government opposing everything the Government does. I am yet to see a healthy debate on TV where the participants respect each others' views, debate, analyse, discuss the pros and cons of the issues and part with a sense of camaraderie as the debate finishes.

Even as someone who is attempting to become more enlightened or progressed, and aware daily of my conscious mind, the collective consciousness creeps and so insidiously. Of course it's easy to think that because I'm on the "correct" side of things, that demonizing the other side as inhuman or monsters or as though everything is black and white, is okay. I see myself doing it and have to constantly remind myself what's happening. The internet has added a whole new dimension to the us vs them mind pattern, because you're constantly interacting with people that you literally can't humanize because you can't see them. Once you’ve learned to identify this pattern, you can easily break free from it and see that the light form within our minds has infinite options and choices.

So important nowadays to be and stay awake, aware all the time, at least I am doing in the middle of the day a kind of small review how I feel and where I go....so important, because it prevents me to flow somewhere....nowadays its not easy to stand and defend my position! It is sometimes unnerving to behold the collective ignorance of the slippery slopes we as a hole find ourselves yet again, inspite the hundreds of millions of our kind slaughtered not even a century ago. If you didin't experienced awakening enough, most likely your thoughts are toxic, so you shouldn't give them importance, just observe them if you can.

When Eckhart accepted to give a lecture in Seattle in 2022 that requires the health pass, I was astounded. He broke my heart I must say. Can someone explain how can this be ok to accept to participate in a segregational system? He could have postponed it but he accepted to take part in division of the society. The middle way would have be to not take sides, to wait for the turmoil to pass, to remain in a no action state, but he decided otherwise.... I'm open and I would genuinely like to hear if someone have a good explanation.

Dear Echhart, thank you that you share your bliss! This is a very interesting topic, I also thought about it and agree, we have to be careful with those thoughts that can invade the mind, because they do. But sometimes you do not have any time to choose your thoughts, as I experienced recently, ex. a war in your land. And you feel like another layer of you has been revealed to deal with that, you must. One morning you awake to a new reality and here we go, no option of not thinking about it and not to learn about others. So, I think that conscious choice to have those moments of captivity and pain in "mass thought" and then deliberate research and finding new thoughts slightly higher, slightly better might(?)can(?) should (!) change the collective consciousness forever, regarding the painful subject, not only for one person but for others as well, at least a little bit.
