Azog is the not an ordinary hunter , he is an commander of the legions , he is very intelligent compared to the orcs he is my fav character in the hobbit
The way Azog’s troops followed his commands through the change of flag signals showed tremendous discipline amongst his soldiers. Especially when Azog ordered the trolls to take out the dwarves war machines, the simple signal of his command flags and they go straight into taking out the war machines perfectly.
Gotta wonder why he seems to be the only useful Orc in the whole pack of trilogies. Aside from that huruk hai at the end of FOR, that is. Wished the orcs were more of a threat overall.
@@tluangiralte3069 wasn’t aware ogres were in Lord of the Rings, good to know. They were somewhat puny compared to the trolls who’ve fought for Mordor in other parts of the series, which would explain why they were puny looking.
The orc horn is terrifying but personally I think that of the Haradrim riders with their war shouts and oliphants was I little bit more intimidating and horrifying 🐘
I just noticed an error in animation. The Orc in the back who should blow in the horn, never does it, he just stands there and Horn blows on it own. Bit of a shame but despite it's many error I still love this movie
Azog in Thorin's backstory: a warlord, leader of a barbaric orc horde Azog in An Unexpected Journey: bounty hunter out for blood Azog in Desolation of Smaug: dark lord's top lieutenant Azog in this movie: actual general with his own army and a fortress Azog in the books: 💀
to me it looks like the first ever professional field army in LOTR, just look at how scarily precise the semaphores (yes plural, because all three of those banners play a role in very specific commands or maneuvers) command their select sections of the army, when to advance, when to divert, attack, defend, switch predestined targets, use ranged and melee. it obscurely shows that the orcs have been trained for a prolonged period of time before battle and that the allied armies had no chance of winning. if only azog hadn't left his own post so open to attack

I gotta agree with you azog armies is great they got some orcs and goblins trolls and orges and wags and bats and where worms that's a epic army that's why I love the battle of five armies
Mordor orcs are mass produced slaves who got put in scraps of armor and given their usual work tools as weapons, meant to wear down Sauron's enemies for his real armies, the men of east and south, to finish off men of the west, elves and dwarves on their way
This movie may have been rather flawed for good reasons, but damn, moments like this were good. These moments were easily when Azog’s character shined the brightest and props deserve to go all around to everyone involved. You can tell that he’d been dreaming in wait for this day for decades and wanted the fall of the Dwarfs to be done exactly right, as if he envisioned just how he wanted it all to unfold.
what is their story line how they born their civilization what they eat or how their society works their types their rulers why they always angry that sort of shit is not explained in the movie
So orcs go there, on the highest top that everyone can see, build in secret those instruction wings, but elves, dwarves and humans do not see that? No one notice that? Like how can you make that kind of bullshit? How can you came with an idea like that and everyone in production said "wow that's amazing, let's do that"? And few dwarves run out of their castle and they charge thousands of orcs and armored trolls and somehow win? I mean PJ's idea of Teoden riding out with 10 more horseman and doing the same thing against thousands of uruk-hai was stupid enough, but this is some next level bullshit.
Ok, orcs from The hobbit are cool etc. but these orcs are too well organized, disciplined, and well equipped for self-ruled orcs. They make appear Saruman and Sauron's orcs an amateurish warband. Puls these cgi orcs look less real than those from LOTR and...what kind of race are they? They are uberpumped and 2 meters tall, making urukai look like goblins.
@@jelanihamblet9943And they suck more even than Mordor orcs which are slaves and workers mostly. That's why World design in Hobbit movies is crap, nothing has sense
Because movie creators arent smart and make stupid battles? In Tolkien books every battle is much more realistic with great strategy for both sides. In battle of the five armies in book forces of dwarves, elves, and humans (in books humans had real army with soldiers, armor and even banners) are united before Bolg army arrived
It's scary how organize these orcs are. Azog definitely play total war warhammer
With a leader like azog? Those orcs are gonna become like roman legionairs

Azhag the slaughter : nah

The fact that absolutely nobody saw him and his soldiers setting all these things up is quite remarkable
they were quite busy attacking eachother lol
Best battle horn sound. Piercing and crushing. Just great. Love this horn

Well. He is described as legion commander. But i agree, true commander who shouts motivation and courage into the soldiers.
