The tow truck looks authentically used, abused and old. Yet still carries an air of toughness that only the Land Rovers had. Beautiful work on that one Qfrcy.
That's insane. I can't imagine having the patience, much less talent required for these builds. I'm sitting all pleased with myself for making my Gorgon brushless, reinforcing the body and adding a store bought wheelie bar yesterday. These are truly built, not bought. I wouldn't be surprised if they mined their own ore and harvested the lumber for them. Great work guys!
@@Oilshock I went with Gorilla tape inside. I didn't do the back good enough tho. I busted a back corner today. Definitely do 2 or 3 layers on the bottom rear.
"What more could you ask for?" Nachos. The answer is always Nachos. These builds are nothing short of spectacular. Just amazing work! Thanks to everyone for sharing their talent.
I’m always amazed at what people are doing with styrene, but Fab1ten’s and RSRC’s metal work really hits me in a warm spot. I love a well machined part or a nicely coped tube joint. Really gets me excited about building trucks!
Ive been watching make it rc lately. The model car stuff is absolutely a throwback to my youth, but every one of these is fantastic level of detail far beyond what used to be done in model cars, let alone rc!
Love the Pathfinder!!! Owned the 1:1 of that 2 door model. Took a lickin and kept on tickin. Nice to see actual hand work/creating being done on may of these.
Happy f-n New Year y'all tiny truck guys and gals(?)!! Praise wheel. Fun stuff. And better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick!! 😂❤ Thanks Matt!!
Great video Matt! and content from SBG is totally the best! ;) I had a real 1/1 series 3 years... multiple decades ago... and I'm thinking that Quintons build is an amazingly scale build 👍
Thank You for sharing this amazing builds. Lots of respect for the skills and ideas. Very impressive. Thank You and please go on in the same way in 2024. All the best, Stefan
I wish i had half the talent that these builders have in there pinky finger..... Amazing builds, im honored to just see these builds on your channel 💯 thanks for sharing these rigs, so awesome!! 👍👍
Amazing builds and great video recap. Do we get a montage of all your intros throughout the year? Loved when you did that last year. I'm chuffed to see what you do in 2024🎉
Thanks to you and Josh for providing me something to look forward to every week. Nice to have good content in the hobby that consumes my life. Happy new year ,Brother 🎉
It's a form of art for sure.. and that first one was just 🤯 wow. I have some metal working skills (had to make a complete wing section from sheet aluminum in college), and have much respect for that man's skill and patience. You can see the heart and soul put into that one.
I truly had ambitions of at least submitting an entry into this year's showcase. Maybe for 2024? Some of these builds are just insane!! Thanks for sharing.
Wow, thanks for sharing all those those spectacular scale builds Matt! Hats off and Happy New Year to you and all the scale builders out there doing the work that we can all inspire to do! Thumbs up and best regards! Happy New Year 🎉🍷🧨🍸🎆🍹🎋🍺✨🥂🎊!
On the first build (sand scorcher): It reminded me of home. As a student in Kenya many of my classmates apprenticed on the Safari Rally the name that the East African Safari Rally is now called. (Note there is a race for historic vehicles called the East African Safari Rally in honor of the history of the race).
Many thanks, amazing builds, very cool you shared these projects with all of us. May I add, reallly enjoyed your Driftmoossile track action on the Gram, good fun and the circuit looked totally appropiate with all the scale kerbs and the related, let's call it, rc drift track infrastructure. Happy New Year, top notch SBG selection and display of modelling skills. Thank you and like added 😊
Stunning work by everyone. So many good details in each one. It would be impossible to pick out a favorite! I applaud everyone's investment of time into them. Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year!
I haven't posted in the guild in a long time, But its always a great place for info help and idea's. There are so many amazing builds i would not want to even try to pick a top build,
Absolutely amazing builds!!! Every one of these builders is a true artist and craftsman! Thanks for sharing all these incredible works of art Matt!!! Happy New Year everyone!
Awesome builds. For some reason I get "Page could not be loaded" or "Secure Connection Failed" when trying to enter SBG forum. Do not have these with any other page or forum I visit. Happy New Year!
I hate to be that guy but somebody's gotta do it. That's a Series III Land Rover. The plastic grille and fender mounted headlights are the distinguishing features. Although there were some very late Series IIAs with the fender mounted lights, that is rather uncommon and they still had the metal wire grilles.
@@scalebuildersguild The quality of the manufacturers is incredible. I was impressed by the small details and the quality of work on the RCs. Thank you again for sharing this video.
Yes, I know it's a Series III. I misspoke.
Such an honour to have my Land Rover Tow truck in this video! Thanks so much Matt, I can’t wait to see what next year brings us all! 😍
Happy New Year my friend!
Your truck ist awesome...IT was great to See it live on SherpaDays this year.... Happy new year!
@@prinznapp2018 thank you so much! 🤩
Amazing build, your Craftsmanship and talent are on another level 💯
Recovery vehicles are so awesome. I really want to build a Matt's Off-road Recovery Wrecker. Amazing work!
The tow truck looks authentically used, abused and old. Yet still carries an air of toughness that only the Land Rovers had. Beautiful work on that one Qfrcy.
Agreed!
Matt, don't sell yourself short man. You did create a steam powered RC. Like button energized.

If you haven't already maybe consider a tamiya kit
how did you reinforce the body? I got one for christmas but the body is pretty weak. thats probably the only downside besides the battery.
@@Oilshock I went with Gorilla tape inside. I didn't do the back good enough tho. I busted a back corner today. Definitely do 2 or 3 layers on the bottom rear.
Kevin Talbot just put a tape net and resin to glue it. Strong and lightweight. He did it on a high speed car if I remember@@boduke9428
"What more could you ask for?"
Nachos. The answer is always Nachos.
These builds are nothing short of spectacular. Just amazing work! Thanks to everyone for sharing their talent.
