Usually, after stents and such, people need to take aspirin or a similar medication for a long time. But this decision always needs to be individualized to take into account bleeding risk and procedure characteristics. All the best!
I underwent CABG 2 three years ago but still on clopidegrol, aspirin and statin. I am 51 and have a super fitness as I workout regularly and eat healthy diet. My lipid profile is very healthy like LDL around 60 and triglycerides 121. But my doctors ask me to continue. Can you please guide. Thank you

Whether to remain on both aspirin and clopidogrel depends on the specific nature of your disease (and whether there are stents). So I cannot comments specifically. I wonder if moving to a high elevation (6700 ft) could have contributed to my DVT, along with age, HRT, etc? If so, would I potentially be able to come off thinners if living at a lower elevation (eliminated HRT, of course)?

@ido. I had a P.E. 7 years ago and I'm still on 20mg of rivaroxaban a day. The doctor's said that they didn't know why I had blood clots but said that i have to stay on rivaroxaban for the rest of my life and I'm only 52 now. I have spoken to my doctor but he just says that i have to stay on this medication. When I had my P.E. I was a trucker and i was eating McDonald's 3 days a week and kfc and subways the other days, and at that time I was drinking about 7-8 cans of strong beer everyday and smoking heavy. But now I have completely changed my lifestyle and was looking into natural bloodthiners like garlic turmeric ect ect. But I'm a bit frightened but I really want to come off rivaroxaban because of it's side effects can you give me any advice pls.

what if you had a case of a-flutter but only once, some 6 months ago and no clots? Nothing since then. I was taking aged garlic extract, nattokinase, fish oil, l-carnitine,circumin, prior to this. Is it safe to take those while I'm on Eliquis? I've stopped them while I've been on Eliquis. I've seen no signs of any bleeding.. Aged 73 - lean

Blood thinner medician may not be suitable for veryone, but, for me, it is the good medician, it can provent stroke. so always listen to your Doctor. not online videos.
My husband is in his mid-20’s and got a clot in his calf due to a knee injury. He has been on Eliquis for 3 months but is supposed to stop soon. At full dorsiflexion he still has slight discomfort where the clot was in his calf. Should he be concerned about going off the Eliquis or is this discomfort something that is normal? He has also started having Premature ventricular contractions since starting the Eliquis, (I know Eliquis is used to treat AFIB but can it cause AFIB?

Could the Covid vaccines be a cause of my embolism? I’m currently on Eloquist and want to get off it…. All my test are inclusive as to a reason.

What about when in monthly periods time
You should be shedding the uterine lining, not bleeding like you would from a cut.
I been on blood thinner for 4 months..and dont feel any difference
