I don’t comment often on your videos, I’m not sure why, but knowing the cause that the money made is going towards this amazing development to help animals has given me a reason to be a channel member. Besides that as a human you are exceptional, the content you produce for the public is the best out there, seriously. I took in a rescue cat 15 years ago and me and him have grown up together, I know what it means to have a pet so embedded in your life. I wish you the best of luck for the new year and obtaining the new facility, I hope it all goes well for you all :)

Omg derek .. you have me crying... I am so proud of you for putting thiskind of content out there. If i didnt love you before i definitely do now. I have always wanted to start my own animal rescue company, saving abused, abandoned and lost animals, i just love them so much. Ive always said to people, it doesn't matter what animal it is, what it looks like, or where it lives.. all animals, are my animals! & i love them all equally, they are my babies, they just might not know it yet lol
Grateful to know we have another animal lover in this ASMR family! I wish I could save every one of them but know that I can not so I just do my part to help as many as I can. Slowly but surely I think we can change the world but it sure is a monumental undertaking. Thank you for doing your part!

This is so sad but what an awesome thing you guys are doing. I have a seven year old lab named Balboa, so I understand your passion..
Labs are the best! I love all dogs but I have a special bond with the labs. There are several lab only rescues around here and it just saddens me to know how many need homes.

Yes, I always know you are here. Your name is on my login page because it displays my channel members so I literally see your name every day of my life! As for not getting more animals, I do have 8 of them. I really do wish I could keep them all. Maybe when I finally completely stop working I will get more. I have plans to make the horse barn into dog kennels after he passes away. I'm not excited for him to go but I am looking forward to having more dogs!!!

sort of made me sad how max stood in the background during that last clip and shyly approached you while the other two were getting cuddles. I hope you gave him a good earscratching after that
HA! He was spoiled too. I lost him in December of 23. He was losing his mind as much as he was losing mobility. He lived to be 14. I rescued him when he was 2 years old. He was abused and had spent nearly his entire first two years chained up outside. He never was quite right but I gave him the best life he could possibly have to try and make up for his first two years of hell.
