God this ROCKS!!! My dad used to play the SNES version all the time, which I loved too. But we went on vacation once when I was between 10 - 14 and there was a Round Table or some other pizza place that had the arcade version, and I fell in love HARD with it!!! Soundtrack was just SO much better and I liked the graphics better too! Spent most of the vacation there playing it over and over again! Still think of my dad, who we lost contact with, when I play either version of this game... good memories!
My god this is good. I had the “hook”from the level 1 music stuck in my head for over a month and couldn’t remember what game it was from the entire time, then fired up the arcade version recently and had that sweet satisfaction in no time. Awesome compositions and an awesome sound driver in this case.
I wish Konami would've used the VRC6 and VRC7 more for music. 22:09 sounds better than the SNES original though that was an early Capcom title to be fair.
You can rip that. Download the YTD Video Downloader. Plug the TH-cam video link in and save it as an .mp3. I use it a lot. For a video like this with several tracks, you can cut up the large .mp3 file into individual .mp3 files for each track using Audacity or something like that.

Sad to hear about your father. Glad you can have a positive memory of him through this game, though.

Only a madman would take on this mission... lucky they found me!

Nah man vrc10
I love VRC6, and hearing one of my favorite SNES soundtracks in this form? Oh this is GOOD!
This is absolutely amazing! Area 88 and 1941 Counter Attack are my favorite SHMUPs. I'm checking out your 1941 Counter Attack VRC6 Arrange next!
Fun fact, Area 88 was based on a manga and anime of the same name
I do like the SNES version better, but one thing the Arcade version did better was the final boss fight!
Rishing highがカッコいい・・・

28:50 sounds like a Mega Man level
Same composer as the original Mega Man, funny enough.
@@skepticpunk_ That's amazingly interesting
@@mtvbrill6620 10:09 also has the Mega Man 2 composer
Nice.
16:16 me on my way to get meaten

Oh. Never mind. Seems like too much work.

Agreed.
Yeah.

Well, is there a way to get this in NSF so I can rip it off and use foobar2000 to do that?
