Join me for a walk around the heart of one of the most fascinating towns in all of Wales: Conwy! Dominated by an utterly spectacular medieval castle, and surrounded by an almost perfectly-preserved ring of defensive walls, Conwy may be small, but it's filled to the brim with incredible sights an enthralling history!
On our walk around Conwy, we pass by a number of interesting landmarks, including Conwy Castle, Conwy Town Walls, the Mill Gate, St. Mary's Church, the Erskine Arms, Lancaster Square, the state of Llywelyn the Great, Plas Mawr, The Castle Hotel, Aberconwy House, Lower Gate, the Liverpool Arms pub, the Smallest House in Great Britain, Conwy Harbour, Conwy Quay, Conwy Mussels Company, the old Customs House, Conwy Guildhall, Castle Street, The Old College, the George & Dragon, the Blue Bell, the former Black Lion Inn, Conwy Library & Civic Hall, and the River Conwy.

Interesting video, as usual.
We’ve only been there once but it was an important visit.
We met on a blind date in June 1971 and by September that year were engaged.
We set a wedding date for 12 months later and put down a deposit on a Semi in the village where I was living.
The house would be ready before our wedding date but the Gas cooker we chose from the Huddersfield show room was a bit more elusive as they couldn’t confirm delivery at any time.
On a visit to Conwy we spotted the same cooker in their gas showroom and enquired if they could deliver it to Kirkheaton, they said they could but a couple of weeks after we would return from honeymoon.
They were as good to their word and we only had to cook on a primus stove for a couple of weeks.
We are still together over 50 years after we met.
PS, Edward 1, The Hammer of the Scots, is my 23rd Great Grandfather.
