    Hey, when do you plan on releasing version 2? I would like to start printing, but version 2 would be very much appreciated :)

    I saw your reddit post and I like the idea. I think a bigger one with a 12 cm computer case fan would also be interesting.

    This is a rlly cool design, good 3d modelling on fusion and will definitely try this as I have been looking for a project as I have an ender 3 Pro. Can you tell me what filament and nozzle to use for this project?

      Mark B Thank you so much I used PLA by creality and a 0.8 mm nozzle with a 0.32 layer height

      @@PhilipMerlin Thanks! How would I edit your design on fusion so the top part where the air comes out is more circular and smaller?

    • @PhilipMerlin
      @PhilipMerlin  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mark B You can edit it by importing the STL under: insert -> insert mesh -> then turn your timeline off in the bottom right corner after that right click on the model and select “ mesh to b-rap”.

    Hi Philip! I really like the shape! Its really so beautiful!!! I want to make one for my desk but components i have are different, so i will redesign bottom part. Is it possible to share .step file for fusion of upper part? I have spent many hours but i cant replicate it nicely.. So if you could share it i will be very thankful!

      Thats a fair question. I would put some brushless motor and maybe some batteries to get more rpm and flexibility :)

    The shape of your aerofoil is all wrong 😢 you have no acceleration ramp, it's supposed to be convex not concave, it's supposed to be small at the start and then get wider towards the back of the fan to accelerate the air just like the wing of a plane/bird wrapped into a circle or like the 'choke' in a carburettor
