yayyy
Hope you play the drums at the last Sum 41 show for the last song again to wrap things up nicely so it all comes full circle so to speak! 💪💪🤘🤘
Stevo, super glad to see you starting a channel. You were the first band member I ever met (August 2001--Legends in Victoria BC), and I was blown away at how courteous, funny, and genuine you were because my perception of punk rock band members til that point were formed from personas on MTV prior to that. It's rad to see some things never change. You've got another subscriber.
Loved it brother! Missed seeing that face drumming!
Finally the TH-cam algorithm pulls out a win.
Nice! Thanks!
@@stevo32drums It did!!!!
Stevo was honestly everyone’s favorite member! Just one of those people with an instantly likable demeanor even if you can’t explain why.
Lmao same.
It feels like yesterday I first saw them on KerrangTV!

This man is a true example of what happens when you don't waste your time and become another casualty of society. He never fell in line nor became another victim of our conformity.

Here's 38 year old me, watching 42 year old you, remembering 15 year old me, listening and watching 19 year old you and being inspired to learn the drums.
I also have kids now, a 'normal' career and still play Sum41 on the drums.
You have no idea how fun this was to see you post. I'm positive you inspired a generation of drummers!
Keep these videos coming!!
Haha - that's cool of you to say! I have heard that a lot and It always makes me happy! Thanks man!
Same here, went with a buddy to a free concert they did here in mesa, AZ I was already playing drums but didnt care much for rock.
I remeber just watching his hands and feet 😮 and was like damn. Well I guess im a punk/rock/ metal fan now.
Here's 43 year old me, mass debating over a....hol up, where was I...ah yes, I've been playing the finger drums, wherever fingers dare go for 20 odd years now....past 18 months, on and off about drums. You know the 'just do it' phase to the 'nah, what's the point Im not short of things to do' etc..but you, you are the wind beneath my cymballs! F it! Logging off here and buying an electric kit to kick off with. Whats the worst that can happen? Yeah burn down the house but the next worst thing? They just get thrown on eBay.
Do it bro!
Always thought the blink comparison was dumb they’re more like simple plan or Green Day
+1!
Gotta admire a man that walks away from fame and success to help raise his family. What a legend. Can’t wait for more videos. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Man, that's what real legends do 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I'm sure my kids will need therapy as a result of that decision ... but hey, I tried! haha thanks for watching!
Good thing you had a solid career so you can now pay for all that therapy. haha
Much respect friend. :)
Mega respect dude. I had to dial it back for same reason when 25, but without fame and fortune lol.

Best era of Sum 41 was with Stevo32!
the only era that natters.

Stevo32 is the kind of guy that talks, plays drums, and puts a smile on ur face. Looking forward to see where this TH-cam era goes!
I appreciate that man! Thanks! I will be posting more! 🤘🤘
Stevo drum tube!! 🤘🏻
First vocal was awesome
I went to a Sum 41 concert about 20 years ago in Brussels and used to ditch school and show up to the venue round lunch time, many hours before the show actually started. In the hope to catch any of them. And Steve came out of the venue looking for a currency converter shop, so I guided him in the right spot and we chatted a bit and you were just very down to earth and friendly.
Not a very cool story but it's just to show that even 5 min interaction stays with you your whole life.
First record I ever got for my birthday was All killer No filler. My big sister got it for me. Played it in my portable cd player. Good memories. Rock on dude!
Anyone else get Stevo32 starting a TH-cam channel in 2024? I don’t think anyone saw this coming but definitely a welcome addition 🤘🏻
I'm like a cicada... dormant for a decade that I wake up and start annoying people with loud noises
@@stevo32drums I like loud noises and think cicadas are fascinating. You also check the Canadian content check box for me. I’m in Hamilton Ontario 🔨
To preface, I really love bands that have undeniable chemistry. Ever since Steve chose to put family first, which is perfectly fine, and left The Sums back then.... there's just been some majesty missing that I can't quite put my finger in. Steve spearheaded their silliness. He wears the pants in the family. All the guys can play their asses off, no doubt. But, I've missed Stevo32 behind a kit! So, I'll follow this channel as long as it exist to watch playthroughs of Sum 41, or anything else you decide to cover.
@@brandonw7506 Thanks man! I will be doing all sorts of stuff - sum stuff, covers of other bands, stories. I appreciate the follow!

Jonovision was a great show!
Probably noted here obviously, with all the comments.. but the song in the video according to Deryck in an interview is "Sunday Morning Comics". Which was on the 1996 demo.
Blessed by the youtube algorithm once again
Kmacavelli lyrical machete has blessed the comment section ❤️
What an unexpected and amazing recommendation to get this evening.
Cool! Thanks for watching!
Summer of 2001. 8th grade just ended, and my buddies and I were gonna be freshmen soon. Friends dad was driving us a new skate spot, BUMPING Fat Lip as loud as humanly possible.
10 minutes into our skate shesh, I busted my arm in 2 places, compound fractor, the works.
At the hospital, my mom asked me if I wanted anything before my surgery, I told her I wanted All Killer No Filler for my portable CD player.
Thanks for creating this channel and thanks for the memories 🫡
Dude - sorry about the arm, but that's awesome!
Holy crap this video made me happy! I feel like giving a hoot!
Thanks!

Must be a Steve thing #bluesclues
Man, i grew up on Sum 41. Chuck is still one of my favorite records. So nice to see you Stevo. Thanks for all the great music.
Damn dude, we're the same age. In the late '90s my band won a competition to record and release an album...(we were a jazz quintet). Now I need to go back and relearn all my old bass lines.
Love you Steveo32! Keep 'em coming
Nice formula! A little bit of history, drum cover, fun stuff, that’s great! 👍
Thank you! I thought it was a good place to start!
Thought the same! Vlog + Reaction video + Playthrough, all under 7 min. Great way to start a channel
We love you, Sergio from The Sums!
I will have to do a video on that one for sure! Probably my fav song and video
Stevo 42! I remember the old days in London England in the early 2000s. I was obsessed with Sum 41 and used to idolise your playing so much I almost set my bedroom on fire trying to mimic your sticks on fire routine which I saw you spectacularly fail back at the Astoria in 2001 (my second ever gig). I met you a few times and asked you at Wembley arena in 2003 if I could play hooch when I was 15 😅. You guys inspired me so much and helped me through a lot during my teens when my dad got cancer and eventually died. I’ll always appreciate the sums for everything that happened to me growing up and the fact that I still play drums now is a testament to what “that shit band” my class mates always used to rip at me for liking actually did for me growing up.
Haha! That's awesome! thanks for sticking it out !
You were my fav in sum41, keep rocking
Thanks!
Dave Brownsound was the reason why i play Guitar, But Stevo32 is the reason why i still remember SUM41 such a unique funny character that always made my day, Rock on man 🤟🤘🤘
Thanks man! And Brownsound is and always has been a total beast!
Seeing you play drums again just brought a huge smile to my face, which I desperately needed today.
Great! Thank you!
It's so good to see you again Stevo!!!
It’s crazy to see how the band has changed over the years and still kick ass 🤟 rock on skumfuks
yes!
This man was my favourite part of Sum 41 as a kid. Once he left, i never viewed them the same again.
Thanks for watching man!
As a kid that Pain For Pleasure interlude thing always lived rent free in my head. Simultaneous confusion mixed with maximum entertainment always got me smiling seeing it on Much Music. Thanks for those old memories and cool to see you pop up on here! The Algo got it right!
Thanks for watching! P4P will need to be a video for sure
This is so cool, I respect the move to take care of your family. My son is 9 and a drummer, you are his favorite drummer.
Wow that's awesome! Tell him I say hi!
Your rapping in the beginning of "Fat Lip" won't ever be forgotten!
And so your drum skills
The classic Steveo32 is back. The music, the humour, it's all there in the one video, and hopefully more to come! Stevo32 was definitely one of my drumming inspirations. Reading through some comments and seeing the replies definitely show how genuine Stevo32 is and how much the fans and followers mean to him!
Thanks man! I appreciate you saying that! More coming for sure!
@@stevo32drums rock out and have fun!
Here before this channel blows up. Great to hear from you man! You’ve been sorely missed.
Thanks dude! I appreciate it!
I've always been fascinated by the speed of "light" punk drumming (Green Day, Sum41, Blink182, Bad Religion, Offspring). For me, it's always been a drum genre that didn't get enough respect. It takes some practice to feel comfortable playing at that speed with one pedal for the bass drum.
My favourite punk drummers are Josh Freese and Brooks Wackerman imo ... Although I love Trey and Travis is amazing too
I bought your album in 2002, learned guitar in 2004. Your my fav punk drummer.
I was so upset when you left sum 41 because you never got to play in Argentina.
But now Im happy that you got to raise your kids and be around for them.

I will never forget All Killer No Filler. Your opening drumming for Rhythms is really a blast to listen to.
Oh my god oh my god, Steve-O!!! You are the drummer that made me pick up a pair of sticks back in the Fat Lip and No Motivation days! Thank you Steve-O for being a part of my childhood and showing me that music doesn't have to be serious to be taken seriously!

The better drummer. I miss you.
The goat! Your the reason I started drumming. I’m so happy your now on this platform
That's cool thank you!
Never forget seeing you guys live in February 2003 at Nottingham arena for the does this look infected tour! Still one of my favourite gigs ever to this day!! ❤❤
Stevo, I was 11 years old when I saw the music video for Fat Lip when it first came out. I absolutely loved that song, the music video absolutely captured that time in pop culture. All Killer No Filler was a classic pop punk album, I used to skateboard to it all the time. I absolutely loved the follow up "does this look infected". The bands blending of metal influences with pop punk always set Sum 41 apart for me and I loved everything the classic line up and era did. Alot of happy memories as a teenager to Sum 41s music. The band always has a place in my heart for that.
Thank you for your contribution to the soundtrack of my youth ❤️
That's cool man! Thanks for saying so and for checking out the channel
I came home for lunch on my 13th birthday in 2002 and my mom let me skip school that afternoon to listen to my new Does This Look Infected CD. I’ll never forget that 🤘

What a hoot of a video 😂 I'd like to request a video on Jerry Finn's input surrounding All Killer No Filler because that title is so apt considering how well crafted the songs are alongside all band members constantly playing unique hooks with no filler in between the notes during each song.
