It’s funny how the Undertale fandom is too focused on other stuff to remember the true terrifying nature of Flowey. And this just literally personifies it.
I think its because canonly he wouldn't do this since he gets compassion from everyone else whet the souls are at merged in him. He loses the "lack of feeling" needed to go this far.
Since most want after story aus, no one really thinks to change it so he can't feel even with the souls bc people are too afraid to leave canon since everyone who died gets attacked for it. Im actually surprised at the lack of hate here for simply making chara nice. People hate that since it ruins their precious genocide hradcanons lol
@@IMakePeopleSaltyApparently This is pretty in line with canon though. In Undertale Hyperdeath Asriel was just as cruel and ruthless as he was as Flowey, it is only by saving the lost souls of the main monsters that Asriel is able to start caring about others again by feeling their love for Frisk. In Inverted Fate that never happened, so Flowey/Asriel never was able to regain his empathy.

@@IMakePeopleSaltyApparentlyIkr! And it’s not that I don’t think Flowey is totally irredeemable. Well, Flowey IS totally irredeemable and Asriel is kind of just a kid who snapped after probable years of solitude and soullessness.
As for Chara, I totally agree. I feel like everyone treats them as this pure loving sweetie who doesn’t like violence but in reality they are possibly the most violent character in the game.
Nearing the end now.... also never realized this until I checked the games folder, but when Frisk said the "I DEFENDED you" part, you can barely see it, but they have red eyes. Neat.

My favorite thing about this is how much darker and awkward everything seems with each of the characters having some mistake that they needed to atone for. Toriel was so well written her dialogue was tense and her expressions were so well done. And I'm saying this before flowey does what he does his betrayal.
Edit: after watching the full thing I am shaken to the point to where I am speechless, and THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN OFTEN MEANING YOU HAVE CREATED A MASTERPIECE.

Oh wow I was waiting for the end for a loooong time. This whole AU is based of flowey's reset, and the lies he told frisk and papyrus, and now we finally get to see his endgame

I don’t really know the story behind Inverted Fate but this fan game was very interesting, I hope it gets continued.
Asriel won the final battle in the pacifist run but coudnt control his powers and corrupted the timeline switching people's places ( only sans papyrus asgore toriel and undyne the rest of the monsters are the same ) but keeping their personalities frisk Also forgot everything about the "reset" and the corruption gave them a personality at least one more Open unlike in undertale

There’s an entire arc after this that is about 12 chapters at least, so yeah you could say it’ll get continued

After diving deep into this AU i absolutely ADORED IT, it just has so much passion and love put into it, not to mention all the amazing storylines.

I really think that inverted fate in some way is the best AU just because it's a really cool concept and the story is incredible
The fact that is, the fangame make this explicit thats THIS IS ASRIEL and not an flower that was an person one day, like every au. The fact that he was kinda changed during the old fight and breaks his promisse in the old timeline..

I first figured out this game existed through Scratch (yeah, surprisingly all the boss fights were smooth, fun, challenging, and ran great! Better than nothing, considering I have no PC so I get my games from the... Library Computer) So seeing a continuation of Toriels fight? Masterpiece, even if I skip the whole web comic and it didn't continue how the Scratch Vr did.
I really do recommend going back and reading the webcomic, as it's really important context, and IF is a really continuity-driven AU.
I’m really hoping this continues. This is the main Undertale-related thing (besides Deltarune) that has kept me stuck to the fanbase and I really enjoy this AU.

And the only source (Papyrus) that can indicate that he sleeps a lot, is not reliable. It's not Sans who sleeps a lot, it's Papyrus who almost never sleeps. (Undyne and even Papyrus himself say so.)

No, it's still Inverted Fate, and that other human (Lilac) is not the protagonist. Frisk and Chara are the main characters of this final arc. You can find the rest of the story linked in the description. Inverted Fate is and has always been a webcomic first and foremost.

FIND OUT NEXT TIME ON DRAGON BALL Z" and the first comment said that sans will win and that they should watch camellia(idk how to spell her name but she is the creator of glitchtale" animated video about the fight and they weren't the only one many people tried using that fan animation as evidence to what would happen in the cannon storyline
