Honestly with the Lobster thing, I think Links theory about it being freshly cooked played a big part. Alongside that it probably would have been flash frozen soon after they slaughtered the lobster which basically keeps it as fresh as when it was slaughtered.

it also helps that it was most likely cooked and served within a couple minutes compared to probably closer to an hour for the others, but I still can't get over a lobster tail being $80 USD, that's actually criminal if it's just for the lobster and a side and not a surf'n'turf thing

Especially regarding Lobster and Calamari. Neither of these reheat well at all. It gives a distinct advantage to the frozen foods that would have only been heated once before serving.
Wanna know what the best thing you can get at Bubba Gumps is? Get the Shrimp Alfredo, but replace the Alfredo sauce with their New Orleans Sauce. Best Shrimp dish I've ever had and have since learned to make it at home.

@@annahogle5397 Ramsey also doesn't have a restaurant farther than 50 km from a coast of any sort, frozen seafood is often far better than "fresh" if you're far from the ocean, that's one thing that bugs me often with how he thinks about stuff, especially for small restaurants, he's got a lot of privilege for the kind of stuff he has access to, though I think it's a lot of just doing a 'bit' for his shows.
They need to include a Josh recipe! Sorry Trevor, but I love Josh. In fact, I NEED Josh. His culinary (dare I say) expertise is essential to videos like this.
The only thing that could make these better is if they included a plate of a simple home recipe that Josh makes.

Thats why almost all restaurants and myself buy live lobsters, boil them, and eat them right after.
yeah, that's why if you live near the centre of NA you should really be buying frozen seafood, unless it's shipped alive, like mussels, lobsters etc.
