Definitely one of the best mods ever composed. Almost as entertaining to watch as it is to listen to. The way he masters those 4 channels is mindblowing.
Had to look this up again.. this set the tracker bar sooo high, what an amazing piece of work with 4 tracks. Jester was a frickin tracker magician 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I remember buying a copy of VGA CopyPro on a 5.25 disk and the startup screen was the face of the programmer and this song played in loop through the pc speaker. I saved money like crazy for a Gravis Ultrasound and when I finally got it... it was worth every sacrifice. I could hear this song for hours in loop. :)
Wow, I still have my old GUS sitting in old PC which travelled halfway around the world and is now just sitting there collecting dust! And this track really brings back memories :) (Although I guess the years haven't done it any favours....)
I'm not sure how it's a bad thing for someone to direct others to good work... I for one am thankful that channels sometimes point me toward cool stuff like this. I've always liked things of this sort, so to find more is always a good thing for me. That said, maybe it's a bunch of folks all saying the same things, like: "X made me find this!"? I can see how that could get irritating.
@@1337Shockwav3 Yeah, must be rough having someone respected in the community like and recommend your project to others that he thinks they will also enjoy. The horror.
When I was young, i listened to the Atari ST version ... This track is really incredible, it will be necessary to make a version with real instruments !
Those are the names of the "instruments"... in the first frame of the video, you can see them all listed one under the other. Together, they form a message.
There are no possible comments for this MOD, it is one of my top ten also. A few others I got from my mod/s3m/it playlist: loader.mod (Dr Awesome of Crusaders) Antarctic Winds (the only ULT I have) Sunrise In Dreamland Lotus 2 (this one is also epic) VP2 (The music that came with Visual Player, my 1st player) Java (from Pinball Fantasies) Never Ending Story (Lizard King) And many many others I still have...
The Best sound of The Demoscene AMIGA. With Knulla-Kuk from Moby !!! JESTER and MOBY Rulezzzzzzzzzz ! If you're not born in 70's (or before), you can't understand.... Never you will.
I've been intrigued by this Jester / Sanity artist for quite awhile now on TH-cam, and was wondering if you knew if they had any official platform or account anywhere?
Good quality but somehow this module played in ProTracker under WinUAE emulation sounds a bit better. I also played this module in Impulse Tracker under DosBox emulation for comparison.
Legendary. Famous. Awesome. A cornerstone in the history of tracked music. Love it! Thanks for posting.
Never heard this before, but i liked it.

@fedm0r impulse tracker is only used for video and not audio. The audio comes from modplugplayer.

Yes! I remember that, I had forgotten what the program was called, it is still available moenk.de/pages/vgacopy.html
Idd... was, and is still amazing!
it's an amiga module from sanity demo elysium, a 4 channels .mod, you don't need a gravis to play it.

LOL yes our 486-DX2 66 overdrive came with VGA-Copy and was capable of putting this through PC speaker.
You can thanks LGR to make me discover this awesome song.
Same story here!
And this is why I hated Clint mentioning my project on his channel.

@@TroutButter Liked and respected within your community maybe - which can stick with their no-brain, high cost approach :) I prefer to stick to mine.
YES! :D ... I just knew it had to be out there somewhere. I played this track many times back in the day. Thanks for the nostalgia!
Always loved this great addition to module music history! :D
wow! I remember listening to this one over and over again after I got my very first brand new "soundcard": Covox!
One of the very best!
Always loved Jester's work
Only 4 Channels!
yes
This is one of the tracker songs that inspired me to make music. It's still just as amazing to hear now as it was almost 30 years ago!
Same with me, started with X-Tracker, then moved to Modplug Tracker until FL Studio came out.
Rolou até uma lágrima...
Yo this song's awesome! Pure winter vibes.
one of my most favorite songs from childhood.
This always makes me think of snes top gear
Such an epic vibe to it

best i have ever heard for years.. I have been listenng this all day today in the car.
I need that on spotify =(
One MOD of my top 10. Great music.
No windows, no analog instruments, only a PC,
Sound blaster and the msDos Magic.
I discovered this song not through LGR but through a Pokemon Save Editor homebrew on Nintendo DS lol
I used to listen to this song all the time with Tetra music editor back in the DOS era.. and kept it looping for half an hour . Still love it!
Thanks for reminding me of this awesome track!
Since no link is provided here's one: modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_player&query=40475
This mod and Stardust Memories are the reason that ShadowWraith has one of the best soundtracks ever. That game introduced me to such good mods :D

AWESOME! I love this LEGENDARY song!!

Dan Hammonds agreed, I can't even believe that this was done in only 4 channels.
awesome!
Algoritmo Je Tesongkhapa en Cadena Raza

NANG anyone?
Yep thenewgeezer is god
Wow... is it from mid-90s? I remember the same exact MOD on my first PC in 1999.
Yeah this is my favorite mod of all time, doesn't' get old. I wonder what he does now?
This reminds me of the arcade game
" Beasty Boy "

I think it has to do with the resampling methods on ProTracker/Impulse being different, not 100% sure on that though.
Yeah, I found it!
alloo Volker xD
This sounds like Velfarre to me.
Shadowraith had great music
I wonder if Jester used MIDI keyboard for this or played this on a amiga keyboard :)
This is just four channels??
Yup, the Amiga 'only' had four channels.
appears to be some sort of filtering enabled. sounds terrible compared to an amiga.
Krypton Egg (the dotemu version)
Can your IPhone X play this MOD? =)
hilariously, yes it can. iTunes/music natively supports mod file playback.
Modizer app
make it in protracker plz!
