Some really great tips in this video. The one about spreading both grouped guitar tracks 50/50 each direction blew my mind. Also didn't know it was okay to eq3 after a channel eq so that's pretty rad. Thank you for the education!

I rarely comment videos, but I really had a great time watching your tutorial! It's also just my sense of humour, had to laugh quite a lot :D
    Keep it coming

Hey man! Your channel is really helping me understand a lot in Ableton, especially since I'm doing more "organic" tones as well. Thanks!

hey man! first of all thx for all the lessons - they're helping so much! i'd still have some questions (and i hope you didn't explained it all already somewhere in your videos but it's just so tiring when you're looking for something specific and you just can't find it.. specially if it should be working with punk sound) :') that's why i need YOUR recommendation
first question is about guitar panning:
if you have rhythm AND lead guitars.. would you also double record it and put one of each to the right and the other one to the left.. and like rhytm 50L / 50R and lead how close to the center (or where would you actually put it if it's playing when there's also parallel singing?)
or would you go left with either rhythm or lead and right with the other?
    second question:
i've watched your old tutorials and because of them i'm one of these guys, who spend money on ableton suite without having it (no offense! without you i probably wouldn't even have started mixing!)
but now i hear the final mix in this newer video with ableton intro and it sounds even fatter to my ears :o
would you use the same mastering with the suite version or would you use some of the stuff, which is not available in ableton intro?
if you ever read this.. THANK YOU!

Hi Julian! Excellent as always! I’m a little less punk now : my evaluation release has expired and so I bought the live standard yesterday (but adding the price of the session drum studio pack!). And to answer you keep on this video format!! 👍🏻 Keep safe Julian and cheers!!!

I like these tips for idiots like me. Even though Sonic Reducer is an amazing punk song that also sounds like crap I'm way too self conscious to let my songs sound like old dirty punk
