I love oily fish, cheese, nuts & seeds. Not an avocado fan! I used to have Flora Pro Activ because of raised cholesterol (never seemed to make any difference!) & always used sunflower oil for cooking, had low fat yoghurt & low fat cottage cheese as that was what we’d been told was healthy!! Now I use EVOO, grass fed butter & full fat everything! Along with far less carbs & UPF plus trying to make sure I have at least 14 hours with no food I’ve dropped around 20lbs & maintained it for nearly 2 years. No longer overweight & on no meds, coming up for 65. Just wish we’d known all this years ago!

Absolutely correct. I've been listening to a couple of Drs and they say the same. I feel a lot better since cutting out the carbs like pasta etc. Eating more avocados, cheese (for me goats or sheep). I use olive and coconut oil for cooking. I actually have started using butter but not much. And with all my increased 'good' fats intake, I feel much better and fuller, and have actually dropped weight.😊

Couldn’t agree more, and I eat all of those, but I think way to much, love an idea on maximum amounts per day

Sometimes i cant get any motivation after studying for decades what's good and not good foodstuff. Thankfully you always give me that little perk to show i am doing the right thing. Hard when family members have problems with dairy though as its much more limiting. Thanks for that lovely vlog.❤

So true, processed food industry but also pharmaceutical companies. When we are healthy, we don't need their drugs! And no money for them!

Lots of great advice as always Liz! Here in Southern Spain we're lucky to be able to enjoy plenty of local avocados & olives/olive oil, also sardines freshly cooked at beach bars! I'd also add nuts & seeds to the list of healthy fat sources x

Hi Liz, as a vegetarian, I like the fact that fish is the only thing here I wouldn't eat. I agree with all that you say and I do try to eat in this way. However, I use extra virgin olive oil for everything but should I use it for cooking? I have read differences of opinion and I'm confused......... Gez

I prefer gluten free bread etc as I just can’t go without carbs. However they are full of additives . Advice please. I just can’t resist the crunch you get from cereal/toast etc.

Totally agree with eating good fats. My fav’s are kerrigold butter, olive oil, olives not a lover of avocado, tried & tried but just don’t like them. If you watch Dr Bergs recent video he shares how eggs can be tainted with all sorts of nasties from the chicken feed! & recommends pasteurised organic

We think MCT oil can be extremely helpful for fasting - we've recorded a TH-cam on here on the benefits of it!

Hi Zoe! We're unfortunately not able to offer individual medical advice as we don't know the full picture but we do think that fats are an important part of your diet - hope that helps ❤️ Thanks, Rachel (social media manager)

I think maybe over the years women have been brainwashed into thinking we have to look a certain way that the word fat has us recoiling in horror......Salmon is my favourite fish however fish eaters be careful where you get it from, some farmed fish are fed dyes in their diet to give them the colour we expect them to be.....as a snack my go to is a boiled egg or pink lady apple slices with cream cheese ❤
