I would really anticipating that show it would like a darker version of Kinnporsche if they got to find new actors so be it I just felt that storyline had some damn good potential and it would be a waste to throw it out

Without the trailers, there are no shows. Period. In Thailand the proccess happens differently from what you might know. The companies have to first film and release what is called a "mock trailer" in which they display the main couple and the plot. By alluring the audiences they subsequently attract sponsors and only then they''ll have the means and the funds to actually film the whole thing. That's how it works, whether we like it or not.
Thai always make pilot trailers for both straight and bl series otherewise they can’t get sponsors.

This could have been a major hit since it was the comeback of TayNew but i guess whatever and can we adapt Straight Kdramas instead of Japanese BL series 😩 because it's so hard to execute
I'm wondering if these Japanese copyright issues will affect the upcoming Thai adaptions of My Love Mix Up and Ossan's Love. I really am looking forward to My Love Mix Up with GemFourth, but as much as I love EarthMix the Ossan's series don't appeal at all.
I think the problem may come from the distributor not gmmtv, who is producer, because this is the first time that JP adaptations faced this problem. Cherry Magic is the third JP adaptation of this company.
@@StampinoNoree At the time it happened they said it was the author of the original manga who didn't give permission for release outside of Thailand. Apparently he still owns all the copyrights.
I was really anticipating for Red Peafowl. 2:54 and thank God that Mile helped financed this as well and it paid off big time

I would add The Whisperer. Those who enjoyed the series, in spite of some minor issues with acting and how things have played out, are still waiting on the final episode. We have no clue why it was pulled, and there's no news about when it can be expected. At this point they should give us more than one episode when/if he airs again. The production company says it will be released, but again, we have no idea when. Not even a rough estimate.

Omg I didn't realize the company for deep night issued an apology for the plagiarism of OOO choreo. I was shocked when I saw the scene was def not a cross over I was expecting

Shiaaaa!! Red Peafowl had such a mysterious and mystical grip on me, attracting me magically, just like The Sign did… What a bummer… 🙁
Why R U TH also had problems when pandemic struck and they had to change part of the story since only Saint and Zee can tape the scenes and had to cut some scenes for Jimmy and Tommy since the university was closed - some did not understand the reason for the change and did not like the change of the series that focused with Saint and Zee. this actually led to creating special episode for the story of Tommy and JImmy after some time since the end of Why R U.
The biggest issue for me in thai BL is " The Whisperer". Just suddenly, no finale. Its been 2 months and no word, no reason, nothing. Just the fan meet canceled, and the finale dropped. Watched 11 episodes to have NO conclusion.
I was so ready for Red Peafowl to premiere. I cared about this series more than the others. Mostly because it's in the realm of KINNPORSCHE. I always love mafia movies, and you really have me excited if it's a BL Mafia series. It just sounds like they don't have the funding for it. I definitely would've loved if they turned this into Manner of Death 2 to get Tul back.
Red Peafowl would have been the series of the year if everything worked out right.
For Him!!! The production company was making it up as it came along. Some episodes were 45-50mins then the rest of the episodes lasted 20-25 mins. There was drama behind the scenes re: stalking. The ML's hair colors changed every episode and I know they completely damaged their hair for such a piss poor show.

TBH, I was skeptical about Red Peafowl because of some big name actors. But, it looks like they are meeting the same fate as KinnPorsche. Hopefully, the studio can bring it to fruition or another studio picks it up. It seemed so promising. Cherry Magic was a gut punch. I am pretty sure everyone was excited for TayNew's return as a BL couple. I still hope that the upcoming Thai remakes, of some Japan series, can make it to international fans. ❤❤

Not to rehash some drama but Step by Step should be on this list too. The "controversial" znn scene that got deehup house in trouble with doumundi, but mostly the fans, which pressured Tee to delay airing the second half of the series bc he wanted to edit the show.

I really hope GMMTV sorts out that copyright shit before airing MLMU or Ossan's love th so they don't have same problems.

I’d include I feel you linger in the air too since it was originally to be wetv original in 2022 but all of the sudden deehup house was dumped and struggled to find budgets and sponsors for a long time until YYDS came in to help the project happen so that we finally get a masterpiece of all Thai BLs with no product placement in the show since there’s no sponsors only pure passion.

I suggest to add Kiseki (nothing to do with the taiwanese production just finished, Kiseki, dear to me) Saw a trailer of this one ages ago with the actors from Venus in the Sky, which was not particularly good news imo. Now it appears that actor Cheque will not be on it so not sure if it will be released at all.
I must admit... I am SERIOUSLY disappointed that "Deep Night" made this list because of a less than (?) 30 second clip of choreography. When I watched the episode, I was so GLAD that this bit of choreography was included in the (story's) description of the high-end acts shown in the club's "Special Friday Night(s) shows. To my mind, it meant that this choreography was considered "Classy, Elegant, Sexy, and Eye-Catching" enough to be used as an example of the club's shows. To me it meant that OOO either have a (big?) fan-base in Thailand, or that OOO impressed the company enough with their work for them (the company) to bother with TRAINING the actors to actually DO the choreography (which they executed QUITE well imho! AND probably to "the song" too!!! We just won't get to see it 'cause it's on the "cutting room floor"! Highest of Kudos to the actors who actually DID this!! Well Done!!!) even if it was just for a "snippet" scene. I thought of it as more an "Homage" to the beauty of men's sexuality (in whatever form it takes), or at the very least, a very high compliment to the group who created it. I always thought of this particular "dance move/sequence" as "Iconic" (to OOO). I mean it's only every-effing-where on the Internet... But I guess we'll have to call it the "copywrited Iconic (perhaps soon-to-be-trademarked Iconic?)" dance move/sequence. Beware anyone who has used this move or thought of using this move in a video (snippet, clip, short, live action, or otherwise!!!). They'll be coming for you!!!! Delete NOW!!! Before it's too late!!!! 😱 You cannot use this to even unintentionally promote the group who created it at all!!! (I wonder how many people looked up this dance move/sequence and watched the MV??? 🤔) That's how ridiculous this sort of thing has gotten.... why make music videos or even dramas and series if it is going to come to this??? Oh... might as well include books too... let's just live on our own imaginations, and don't dare to share 'cause someone might have had the same imagination as you.... and come after you, lawyer in hand!!!! KinnPorsche was great. I was quite disappointed with how the company let the writers put the actors in uncomfortable situations.

I'm disappointed but not surprised about Red Peafowl. It seemed a bit too ambitious.
VERY disappointed about Love Upon a Time. Net/James were one of my favorite BL couples. I hope they can find someone to pair with Net who has the same charisma on screen that he has.
I immediately recognized OOO's choreography in Deep Night. It's iconic. I'm not sure how the producers thought nobody would notice and that they could get away with using it without permission.

I really want Red Peafowl to come out! It looks like it has the potential to be on par with KinnPorsche in terms of mafia/action/romance. I hope it can be saved and improved like how KP was.

With KinnPorsche, I didn't know that the original production company had issues with the writers. With what we know now about these writers, I'm not surprised. I loved the series when it was released, but the bts info has kind of tainted the series for me and I'm not sure if I will rewatch it. As for Tale of 1000 Stars, this is one of my all time favorite shows, and I can't imagine if it had been cancelled due to external factors. I was also looking forward to Love Upon a Time, but the actors are people too and have to what is right for their own well being. I wish James all the best in his future projects.

Red Peafowl : only change the actor
For me KinPorsche better in series version. I can feel humanity. And sometimes I hope Thailand script writer can see logic in the a novel before making adaptation. Because many Thailand drama which followed novel feels so cringe. Hahaha

I don't know what Domundi is doing, but they should have kept the middleman's love series and put out Two worlds, Zomvivor, and the prince series. They may have too many actors in the camp. Especially, if you're trying to put out great content.

If I memory serves me right, The 2 Moons of God and Bas are the most problematic BL of all time since the character changes every time that a production tries to do it. Another thing is that God is not comfortable of doing BL and he was being alleged as a queer-baiter.
Deep Night isn't that great at the moment. I fell asleep on thr first episode.

KinnPorsche finally happening was a pleasant surprise. I had given up hope by the time the first episode aired.
