My dad is in this video :) like that I can come back here and see him, he’s since passed on. I had the chance to be in it as well with my brother, but we both had to work. My step brother did costume design for this video, kind of cool to have all those connections. Closest I’ll ever come to fame 😂

There is nothing fake, contrived or "electronic altered" about her voice. She is the real thing. Hope to hear some new songs from her in the coming years. I've missed her.

Until I finally figured it out, 3 years ago - in 2016. I am just a guy somewhere in Berlin/Germany but I overcame my anxieties and all the things standing in my way. This is really a great song and the song of our lives. My wife and I met each other as teenagers, which is where this song came out. It became our favorite song and our shared song. Today, 25 years later, we have experienced this journey together. Are married, have two small children and as fate plays with you, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, with which we fight together and walk our path together until we reach the goal. The music industry is a strange beast, Amanda Marshall was a small blip in the US market, while fellow Canadians with a fraction of her immense vocal talent, ie Beiber and Drake, became household names. Timing, management, marketing, and being appealing to one of the core music buying demographics, is far more important than raw talent to sustainable mainstream success.
I first heard this song on the Touched By An Angel soundtrack so long ago. I loved it then and I still do. Everyone needs to know that someone believes in them.
