It's always a great thing to see the youthfulness. It truly adds to an individuals interpretation of daily life. Especially when they share their curiousity and cheerfulness. JaYoe
Yeah I always thought that was funny about Japan. People would drink all night. Clean up before work. Go to work, sleep an hour at work. Sleep when they get home a few hours and go back out. My boss was older and that guy would drink everyone under the table. And do it on a Tuesday lol
I'm American but the worst culture shock I've ever experienced was coming back home after living in Japan for an extended period. Everyone was so rude and brash and pushy...I went to a Burger King and felt emotionally attacked by the cashier. Very surreal. It was my home culture but I got to experience it as a foreigner for a few days, which is a pretty cool experience. You're still uploading videos so I assume you survived the Taiwanese roads...great work! hah.
6:18 Hi Matt. Don't worry, that rattling sound made by the idling engine is perfectly normal. The turbine blades are loose in their mounts so that they settle into their optimum position while running at high speed and absorb energy to prevent the blades from cracking from the vibration that could build up due to resonance at certain RPM if they were mounded rigidly. They are mounted in a fir tree type of dovetail joint. Here's a 1 minute video about it: th-cam.com/video/phludDUfakg/w-d-xo.html And a few examples: th-cam.com/video/aKJMUdFhYBs/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
i just finished eating within 10 minutes into the video but after seeing that buffet ribs lol i wanted to eat all that! over stuff my self like a turkey
Here in Hangzhou there are literally no fireworks. In the states they would at least have a display and we have the perfect lake for it here in hangzhou, but no. I heard some at the start of the new year and someone must have gotten fined because there were literally none after that.
I noticed they’ve got FamilyMarts like you’ll find in Shanghai. Very cool. But man, those airline guys seemed to have a difficult time getting TigerDuck on the airplane!
Yep miss japan most civilized place ? Loved your blogs but Kyushu and Amani or the many Ryoku islands so overlooked Amani oshima and Kagoshima full of history and both v unique although japans are huge
You are back in China in the last live streaming and you said you are going to Taiwan in March of next year and now you are in Okinawa 12/12 heading to Taiwan???
Seat 1A for the big white guy who can barely walk. LMAO! Try riding in very early morning. Far less traffic. I'm going to look for that particular Hot Pot next time I'm in town.
Master Q Haha, he did look a tad uncomfortable. But you got to hand it to him, he shows us everything. He certainly didn't have to show us that. Maybe that's why I like his vlogs so much.
Tiger Dot to Dot gooogle buy that kymco easy ot kymco metica in Taiwan. but if you need enjoyfull motor bikey is kymco Dink 150 not 250 cc. that is awesome motor bike in this planet
Probably breaching every rule in aviation history, but at least you got some good shots (and you weren't streaming, like John, so I guess it's alright).
Yeah, they're pretty conscious of filming inside controlled airspace in Australia. But, hey, you do what you can do. I remember taking heaps of photos of the DMZ from Panmunjom on the south side of the Korean border, right up to the barbed-wire fence. The guards took me inside and "interrogated" me a little, but I said I had taken some fantastic snaps from beautiful Korea & if they send them back to me they can check my camera. They just handed my camera back (BTW it was a film camera not digital).
Japan makes the best tools, then Taiwan. Quality wise, some German tool companies have there tools made in Taiwan. Not to be off topic, I was just saying since you brought up bikes being made there.
@12:18 lolll Prozzie said "mainland Chinese have no social mindset. Now, he has returned to the civilized world again". Lollllll Looks like Taiwanese have the similar mindset as our mainlanders lolllll
So @7:35 you use the same phrase as some other recumbent trike tourists use...projecting yourself as handicapped in some way, so you can get perks from the airlines, when you really are not in any sort of way? I hope you sleep well as you have obviously seared your conscience to ethics and morality. I have a Catrike Expedition recumbent trike, and I plan on flying hopefully with my trike. However...I could never use manipulative tactics for my personal benefits. There are only a certain amount of handicapped seating on each airline. Even if there were no other person on the plane who truly needed the designated seating. The lack of ethics of this little 'play on words' in order to personally benefit from you and your trike is quite appalling. But I'm not surprised in this current society and generation, where everyone does what's right in their own minds and justifies it. You will reap what you sow. It may be further down the road than you think, but make no mistake, you will. Safe travels.
some buildings on a street behind jo ya prove that taiwan is part of china? are you really so insecure that you need to leave such a comment? the power of brainwashing i guess.
Such a cute child! She cracked me up!
That restaurant also looks soo amazing!!
It's always a great thing to see the youthfulness. It truly adds to an individuals interpretation of daily life. Especially when they share their curiousity and cheerfulness. JaYoe
JaYoe to TWO HOURS of HOTPOT👍, and Angel looking in the camera saying, "Where? I don't see her??", was hilarious 👍
THe girl is lovely."I dont see your friends!" hehehe

Angel is a cute kid!
Yea she is. :)
I did a little biking in Japan last year, I absolutely loved it.
Welcome to Taiwan. I hope you will enjoy everything here. Very be careful the traffic here because it is terrible.
I've seen the video about that guy's vehicle. Very Cool.
Great video as always JaYoe ☺️ That hot pot buffet for me would be the way to go as I eat a lot 😂

可愛的小妹妹
Should come back the first week of November for the bike fair in Taipei! You will love it
Ooh geez seems I just missed it
No it was in March last year. They have now changed the time of year for it.
the JaYoe Nation 2018* coming to Taiwan every year can be a new tradition :)
Angel has a lots of potential to be a actress
I'm excited to see how you handle the utter chaos and dirt roads in most African countries.
Hmmmm , I've seen the route planned. been on many of those roads. Japan it is not.
yea... haha.. me too..
Nice one ..
Haha, two weeks Japan turned me into an optimist too. I never really trusted traffic much there. I found inner-city driving a little too speedy.

I've had hot pot buffet in Taiwan, but they were individual pots. I personally think it takes away the hotpot experience!
That rickety sound is the external Diesel power generator ;)
i just finished eating within 10 minutes into the video but after seeing that buffet ribs lol i wanted to eat all that! over stuff my self like a turkey

Hahahahahahah yea I know. I got a lot of grief already
Yep miss japan most civilized place ? Loved your blogs but Kyushu and Amani or the many Ryoku islands so overlooked Amani oshima and Kagoshima full of history and both v unique although japans are huge
Have you figured out how to say "trike" in Chinese yet? Haha, excuse me if you've already answered this. New to the channel :)
三轮车 - Sānlúnchē... but normally i just say the word for bicycle when they ask. Zìxíngchē
the JaYoe Nation 很棒!我五月去台湾
@8:10 surprised to see fighter jets parked in a civilian airport...
Or it's an airbase , but also open to civilian airliner?
Yup. Both. I thought it was interesting too
Early squad
You are back in China in the last live streaming and you said you are going to Taiwan in March of next year and now you are in Okinawa 12/12 heading to Taiwan???
My videos are a week behind. I went from Okinawa to Taiwan to drop off the trike and visit with friends before coming to china. I’m here now.
gotcha.
Taiwan and China are two different countries.
I love Taiwan but not it's driving habits. Please when you come back here and start up the tour again be careful on the roads.
Will do
Please share info of the hotel/hostel you stayed in in Okinawa, thanks Matt.
solopolo
He just said log on hotels.com to find a cheap hostel
Thanks Ken, but I'd like Matt's endorsement in the video.
the name of the place was the Hotel Pesquera... in downtown Naha
the JaYoe Nation Thanks Matt.
They could use a cycle path factory.
Seat 1A for the big white guy who can barely walk. LMAO!
Try riding in very early morning. Far less traffic.
I'm going to look for that particular Hot Pot next time I'm in town.
You could see the guilt radiating from Matt.
Master Q Haha, he did look a tad uncomfortable. But you got to hand it to him, he shows us everything. He certainly didn't have to show us that. Maybe that's why I like his vlogs so much.
yea... i dont like accepting "charity" i dont deserve.... but in this case....

Matt don't you use G7x Canon for a lot of shots and video?
Yup. Everything except the drone
Take care of the cars in Taiwan. They don't yield.
Great vlog Matt, welcome back to China traffic, lol. Angel is a little cutie. A great bunch of people that you have meet up with.
He's in Taiwan, not China
Actually, back in Nimbo, China, Bob.

Haha really? For making a video on the tarmac? In asia everyone is snapping pictures or making video of the planes and things. Lol

brisbanerugby The DMZ and a small Japanese airport with a couple of stationary Blackhawks and F-16's aren't the same thing in terms of sensitivity.
Yeah, I agree with you Chris, however same result as Matt, I got to take my footage.
hi
bye Matt ! someday back to :) greets from Hokkaido !

Not off topic. Thanks for sharing
Roof Repair Techs There are lots of tools. For my industry, the US makes the best tools.
Once a roofer, always a roofer.
Yes, indeed people's driving habit is ugly and horrible. Hope you had a good time.
@12:18 lolll Prozzie said "mainland Chinese have no social mindset. Now, he has returned to the civilized world again". Lollllll Looks like Taiwanese have the similar mindset as our mainlanders lolllll
Well similar driving abilities at least or lack thereof. :-)

@13:28 looks just like in some Chinese city lolllll .. This has proven that indeed Taiwan is a part of China lollll.
some buildings on a street behind jo ya prove that taiwan is part of china? are you really so insecure that you need to leave such a comment? the power of brainwashing i guess.
That particular view at 13:28 is more like Japan.
