It has SBC, AAC, and LHDC. AAC is compatible with apple, LHDC is compatible with latest snapdragon powered devices, and SBC for every other device. LHDC is a codec that is similar LDAC and is designed for high sound quality transmission.
also you touched on this a little but I also can't find a way to turn down the system sounds, like the sounds used to change modes or when it turns on or off or searches for Bluetooth. Would be nice to have the ability to choose the system volumes sounds
@@GadgetsBoy can it be worn all day for office calls on MS Teams/Zoom etc? Comfortable enough? Do they have option to be used as wired headphones for phone calls (like Sony xm5 )?
I got these yesterday, have to say, love the look, disappointed no ability to connect to more tgab one device, just a big shame! Also the double tap to change from active to transparent, that hardly ever works for me, it's a real hit abd miss. Also for some reason in phone, the Bluetooth audio isn't as high in volume as my bose qc45? Why? No idea, it's louder on my laptop but if bose can make it louder on phones, why can't dyson? These are all my negative points. The rest I love
@@GadgetsBoy do you find that the audio seems a bit quiet, especially when connected on phones? I don't know if you have a pair of bose qc45 handy or a similar headphone, when I put my volume up to max on bose compared to the dyson, the dyson is noticeably lower. Wonder if you have same issue? I'm thinking of seeing if they'll let me get a replacement so I can see if it's just mine that's faulty
@@doormatt28 yup not made much difference. Put it this way, when I crank everything to max for volume, I can only seem to output 80db max, if I wanted it to be louder, I can't seem to get these headphones to output that out, seems to basically hover around there. Are any of you guys able to get these cans to go above the "safe" limit?
Got them yesterday put them right back in the box and called for a return label! They look so cool sound is not good.Dont’ play loud enough for me and the preset EQ sucks.for what it’s worth.
Hello compare to xm5, is it better? Because if it is better in terms of sound and anc, ill go for it..
Well, one things for sure... They're beautiful.
No multipoint and lack of every codec is a deal breaker at that price
Ditto

@@timothyzhuk2847I’m new to audio…does this mean I can Bluetooth these to my iPhone and PC? Or just one or the other?

Agreed
How does Dyson OnTrac compare to the Focal Bathys?
Not the same league. The Bathys is miles better
Transparency mode and phone call quality?
Both great

A very unique product. The weight of such large earmuffs is probably increased a lot, so I prefer lightweight products.
Do you have comparison with other ANC? I have hearing sensitivity condition so I rely on that on daily basis.
It's not as good as bose or sony but good enough

They definitely missed out on codecs too which I forgot to mention in the video. Multipoint is missing for sure

@@DamZFXBeats There is a 'keep product at a safe level' setting in the MyDyson app that you may want to check if its automatically turned on?
@@doormatt28 nah that's not on its off for me. Let me turn it on and off and see what happens

From 6 to 20000hz or 6000 to 20000hz ?
6hz to 21khz
I came here from Nigerian senator Dino Melaye's Balenciaga video 😂
Lol what? What video and what is the link?
12-min video and you gave 20 seconds to talk about sound quality... 🤔 got it.
Glad you got it
Yeah, If the bass isn’t there neither am I.

Yeah don’t blame you it’s not fully up to scratch for the price tag
