Hi Jeff, You're right, and I thought that too "it’s hard to imagine cars like this are still around to be found". That's why I though, let's get this one on the Channel. You're welcome, Lou
That 1969 Superbee is still stinging. Style & performance in one gorgeous, happy classic package. You look marvelous. Great find & restoration. Thanks, gentlemen
I’m a 69 Dodge guy… love the B-bodies and an R/T or Superbee is my pinnacle. What a great barnfind, just let’s everyone know there are still a few out there waiting to be found 👍🏼
Hi, Lou! Even after reading "barn find", I couldn't tell from looking at the thumbnail that we were in for a diamond in the rough. Probably because you generally show very pristine cars, I was figuring this was a barn find that had been restored. It does seem to run very well after the engine replacement, but I don't imagine you were very comfortable sitting in it. (Watch the screwdriver!) Maybe in a few years, Vince and Tyler will have it back on this channel looking like your usual exhibits! Dodge Fever strikes again! Thanks for the ride, fellas!
Hi iswc27, You're right, usually a "showroom" new appearing car will show up on this Channel, however you never know, so fun to be able to mix up the lineup once in a while :-) You're welcome, Lou
Nice to see a younger owner. It will be very interesting to see what happens to the value of these cars in the next 10 years or so when most of the owners start to die off (sadly). Young people don't care about them. They are into tuners. They are only worth what someone will pay for them. And if no one wants them I feel as if the prices are going way down. Making them affordable again to the average guy. Just a thought.
Thanks again Lou for a great car. You are not gonna believe this… but my grandparents who were in the Chrysler business had a cabin up in Franklin NC. I’ll go one step further. They knew CC Mason the local Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth dealer. Also Mr Conley the Ford dealer. What a great find.
Good morning, love a barn find SuperBee. I think this is amazing. Pretty well preserved for sitting outside. Thanks Lou! That poor interior is roached lol
Nice find! There's plenty of character in this Super Bee, and it's definitely in the right hands for whatever lies ahead. This will certainly be a fun journey for a fun car, especially with the 440 already on board. Thanks, Lou!
Hi TheGunfighter45acp, "There's plenty of character in this Super Bee" I agree. it will "BEE" interesting to see how this car ends up. You're welcome, Lou
Legendary car. Love the color. A friend found my '66 Charger in storage in St. Charles, Missoura. It was purchased there in '66 and never left. Weird that I lived in that area in the late 70s. You never know what you are going to find.
My Dad bought my Mother a new 1969 Dodge Charger SE/RT in this same (original) color combination including Tan Vinyl Roof and Tan Leather Interior, Air Conditioning, Power Windows, AM/Eight Track Radio/Tape Player, Chrome Rallye wheels, 440 engine for their first wedding anniversary. They still own the car and it is gorgeous!
My dad had a 1969 Dodge super bee in 1974 only for about six months. It was factory green with black interior and a 383 cubic inch engine, four speed. Be a nice car to have now.
I love how they left most of the car like they found it. Most 'Supernee's' are really Coronets rebadged. One of the hardest to find Dodges to find as most rotted away and got crush. I know some Dodge boys who would pay a pretty penny to buy a real Dodge Superbee. Thx again Lou!
A new segment 👉 " Barn finds with Baby 🤱 lou". 😅. I really like barn finds, and i wouldn't restore that car, just solve any mechanical issues, and maybe fix the seats. Love it
Love it...only original once...As I kid I would send to companies for decals...I had Jahn's, Hiurst, etc, + a full promo group of Super Bee from Dodge. Wish I knew where they are now. Thanks Vinnie and Lou.
Wow now that’s truly amazing how nice it is for sitting out all those years. I had a 68 R/T manual. Really miss that MOPAR but I was young dumb and full of other ideas back in the day. I got it from a secondhand dealership back in the 1980’s and paid about 4000 for it nowadays you can’t even touch them for less than 50,000.
Me personally, I would only stop any rust/cancer spots, and fix up the interior. Outside of that I'd leave it just the way it is outside. The more money and prestine you make it, the less enjoyable it becomes in my opinion, Because you start to get more worried about a scratch or a ding or someone breathing on it. It starts to become something that gives you more anxiety than bring you pleasure. great find my friend. Enjoy it in good health.

Except for the 440 and interior this could have been my Bee. Which I got about 3 months before the 6 packs showed up. Dealer said I should wait. Told him I needed it to get to work. The 4 speed 383 kept me happy.
Hi Joes any O video, Happy to read this car brings back memories of your 383 4 speed car :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing. Hope you see many cars on this Channel you enjoy! Please Subscribe, and hit the "bell" so you can see all the cars when they are uploaded on this TH-cam Channel, Lou
My dad had one. Cops told him in 1975 to get rid of it because he kept drag racing so he sold it to a young 18 year old and three days later the kid wrapped it around a pole I wish I had that car today. Great memories ❤
Hi Brenda, Happy to read this car brings back memories of your Dads car :-) Sad to read the end result of that car :-( Thank you for viewing and sharing. Vinnie and Tyler are much like my son (he's 32) with old muscle cars. Grins all around as they put this old boulevard brawler back on the road. The car isn't a concours showpiece riding on a trailer to preserve it's resale value, with the original 14" x 5.5"steel wheels & original hubcaps wearing date correct bias-ply tires. It is driven, riding on fat aftermarket wheels, with an upsized mill and loud exhausts, as it was meant to be. Smash the go pedal to the floor, turn the rear tires into a smoke cloud, crank up the 2/75 air conditioning, and then ask if anyone checked out the brakes...
In 1969 was you really putting bags or radio and jacking it up are you riding a skateboard putting baseball cards in the spokes of your bicycles Wheels whatever you do in a 69 thanks for the video
Hi, If you like this video, please click on SUPER THANKS ❤ with the $ in the middle which is the SUPER THANKS button under the video. Thank you! Lou

My BiLs brother has a 69 1/2 Super Bee A12. They are a beast.

Me too.

I LOVE the sound of this Mopar! It’s like sweet music! Any idea what exhaust they used? I would imagine it drones a lot at higher speeds.

Hi Charles, WELL DONE! It's your forever car. If you see me at a car show, make sure you show me your car, Lou
Never would have guessed that the interior was completely destroyed by looking at the outside of the car.😢

It's NICE to see cars featured that aren't perfect show cars but I would have at least put a seat cover or a blanket on the seat.
Hi Todd, Happy to mix up the selection and share something a bit different than what I usually show. Blanket would have been a good idea, Lou
They didn't want to do too good a job on that trunk floor so it wouldn't look out of place.
Thanks for sharing what you notice.
how much horsepower have that dodge 1969
Lots.
I did that to the back seat of my car put a screwdriver in the back pocket and sat down.
That can happen.
