Now that's what I needed. The in-game tutorials are decent but they don't explain it verbally so this helps A LOT! I'm gunna go home after work and try to juggle some fools... Or at least try not to get juggled :)
the counter actually factors in the disadvantage you are in during the stun + the frames it takes for your tag partner to get in .. so it gives that funny long disadvantage count. (in the example I gave it would be -28 and - 16 = -42 ) the stun I tested this with is Rigs 7P sitdown..
It isnt. If you noticed, most of these combos in the video were done from one end to the other. not a common scenario in an actual match since spacing plays a big role. This video however should serve as an eye opener for the possibilities of tag mode, especially since it makes lesser viable characters (such as eliot) far more viable in this mode due to the guaranteed possibilities of "Tag Canceling".
It sure does give that impression though since the words critical stun are still up .. its weird .. but I guess you're right.. kinda .. lol becuse the tag out happens on the last frame of the stun. SOOOO, you can make it so that the tag is completed at the last frame after stun (when the character is technically fully recovered and standing if they had not tagged). but for the duration of the stun you actually cant. Think of it as a buffered tag ...
I think this is kinda late because no one plays doa 5 online anymore except for the people who know each other. Are these going to be the same in doa5u?
what you're saying actually happens with all stuns, but you're not actually in stun when it happens (well you are and aren't at the same time. I'll explain lol). I tested it frame for frame. lets say a stun puts you at -28. on the last frame which is the -28 frame you can actually tag even though the words critical stun are still up. and because of this the disadvantage counter continues. giving the impression that you are actually tagging out in stun but you aren't (or you are .. but arent lol)
No, its not. in SF4 .. fastest jab is 3 frames and the buffer system is very strict. in DOA5 the fastest jab is 9 frames and has a far more lenient buffer system... its not fast at all ...
Very nice! One thing though the person put in stun can tag out even though they have been hit. This only applies to the initial stun though. I think we may have talked about this in the forums.
If USF4 is worth playing then ... maybe ... but honestly I got sick of SF4 .. especially after the crap of AE. it was a little better in ver.2012 but the damage was already done.. and SFxT didn't appeal to me not one bit. So I dunno, for now I think DOA5 is a great, solid and most importantly a balanced game and I will continue to support it ... if another good game comes along the way (SF or not.. ) then I will support it as well :) ... but for now, I'm looking forward to DOA5U
That's the best tutorial cover-up I ever watched. wished I watched it when I first bought doa 5 thx and awesome work everyone :D
Gamer Kun بدري .. LOL .. Glad you liked it :)
Wish I'd watched these four months ago when I got the game. Better late than never. Thanks for posting.

Great job with the EPIC TUT!!!
Once again a good job!
90% of everything in these tutorials will be the same yes .. there will be an update vid on the changes once the game is out.

is it possible to play tag mode online with a friend??
yes ofcourse
EMPER0RC0W so we can play together versus the cpu? I mean a far away friend anyway, not on the same console 😊 Thanks!
no. 2 players online vs cpu is not possible

Cool!
looks soooo broken
dude. frames for canceling and juggling is way too fast for a fighting game.
