That is a gorgeous lake, and resort. I could sit out on that balcony all day, watching the woirld (and boats, etc.) going by! Especially while enjoying a nice iced coffee!! I LOVE being on the water - lake, ocean, cruise ship - long as I'm on the water - especially at night! I was stationed in Long Beach, CA when I was in the Navy 40 years ago, and I MISS it, and think about it all the time!! Gorgeous homes, and I couldn't even IMAGINE doing those driveways in the winter time here in the Northeast!!

I've been really liking your videos of Austin and other local areas. Especially some that you did around Katy when the sea cruisers were visiting. I'm from this area so it's nice to see some local restaurants and hangouts. We always take people to No label and Buccees as local tourist stops as well.
So sorry! Sometimes comments get missed in the list!! We just took Rob's mom to Bucee's yesterday! Always a must see! No Label is just a part of the community! I love your videos. I can't wait for your cruise videos to come out . I am not able to go on a cruise now with the cost for the grand kids witch come 1st and for most . The trip from Washington state to Florida cost way to much plus the room for a night and then the cruise and spending money WOW the cost. So for now I watch your videos and Amy's and EECC travels and a few more . Have a great night Hugs Tina

Good morning.. that resort is nice. In our small town we don't have things like that. The public swimming pool was made bigger but nothing compared to that. We live in Marion Ohio about 45 mins north of Columbus. Only thing here to do is count how many people OD during the week. No fun places to eat, the mall is dying mostly empty and jobs are hard to get. Such a huge difference between my location and yours.

Look on Hotwire, they tend to run some great rates for Lakeway. I would call them as well, often they can advise on when the best time to visit is and the best rates available. I am not sure if I mention this but you can book a boat captain and a boat and enjoy the lake and lake activities with a person familiar with the area; lots of fun- pricy but fun! It rarely snows in Austin, and when it does the city shuts down because the city is not built for that type of weather. I would imagine when it snows those with the steep driveways stay home! haha!
